Luke warm take?

First time poster really haven't even lurked but the new E-day announcement has my playing the games again in prep. Super excited.

I bet this is a super basic take but: this always is what should have come after gears 3 right? Like, end the story at 3 and just keep doing prequel stuff? The concept of the war continuously going feels kind of cheap and makes the efforts and story progression of the first 3 feel kind of bad? Again super Luke warm take I bet.

Gears 4 was a total snoozer and I heard 5 was just as bad.

That's my entire post. Going to now search the sub for similar posts.

(I got a veterans discount at Chili’s for proving I had a save carmine shirt)

Funniest scene imo and issue with season 1 into season 2

Episode fifteen season 1.

Veronica is at Manny's flowers trying to figure out who Meg's secret admirer is. Manny describes what he looks like, Kristen BELL (I just watched a movie with Kristen stewart so if you saw me say stewart not bell here you didn't see it) very clearly tries to not break character and start laughing and looks down at the ground super quick before asking him again what he looks like.

Lot of really funny moments in the show but this one is super good.

Issue:

I really dislike that we spend a huge chunk of season 1 building up a relationship with Weavil and Logan, just for the entire mishearing weavil has. The plotline of the Pchers vs the 09ers is a total snooze fest. The fitzpatricks storyline is also zzzzz.

Final side note: Logan realizing it's his sister and not his mom at the hotel is a top 3 scene in the show, just absolute steller performance.

Guild leadership: what is your biggest pet peeve?

I'm not talking the very obvious call out consistently 15 minutes before or just day of raid but of course this is probably the biggest one obviously.

I'm talking more so the:

Guildie levels super worthless alt (rogue sorry rogues love you) and then whines no one wants to carry it through heroics.

My personal biggest pet peeve is the economy complainers who do nothing to combat it. Dailies? Nope those only net x amount of gold. Fire festival gold? Nope that only nets this little amount of gold.

Put down my best friend this morning.

Diagnosed with Hycistoc sarcoma in her front left leg (didn't spell it right don't care), only option was amputation then months of chemo. She was a 9 year old Boston Terrier and didn't feel like putting her through the pain of that, felt more for me and not for her.

Her limp was getting worse, we planned to put her down Monday, but today it noticeably so much worse. She couldn't even finish our morning walk (I carried her 90% of the way too).

The shit that fucking guts me is that when we were going to the vet, she got so excited, her favorite thing in the world was when her mom and I would walk her together. She thought we were walking her together. She had no idea what was going to happen.

9 years ago I got her from a stranger, my dad got me her as a christmas/birthday present. She collapsed into my arms and just stared at me with her big loving eyes. My dad said, "what do you think son" his girlfriend at the time said "I think he's already made up his mind"

Today when she was put to sleep she laid in my arms, took her last breath there. She came into my life in my arms, and left that way.

I can't stop looking for her. I keep thinking it's been too long without taking her out, moving my feet on the bed to find her, looking at the hallway to expect to see her running in.

I feel sick. My heart physically hurts.

I miss my best friend.

I hate that cancer robbed me of more time with her.
