Is there a contradiction between objecting to objectification and normalizing it??

A short dress is not consent, and nobody should be treated as an object. That should be a given.

But here's the question: is it contradictory to object to objectification while also normalizing platforms like OnlyFans, where a woman's body is the product?

Also, young women are told to build careers and

independence. Yet OnlyFans is often celebrated as quick money. Do you think some young women are pulled away from education or careers by the success stories?

To be fair:

Consent is the difference between choosing to sell content and being harassed.

The women campaigning against harassment and the women on these platforms are mostly different groups.

I'm not blaming women who choose it. I'm asking what message the culture sends to young women.

B.Pharm graduate confused about Government Pharma Jobs – where to start?

Hi everyone,

I am a **B.Pharm graduate ** and I want to know about **government pharma jobs**. I am confused about where to start my preparation.

Can anyone guide me about:

* Best government jobs for B.Pharm graduates?

* Which exams should I prepare for? (Pharmacist, Drug Inspector, AIIMS, RRB, ESIC, etc.)

* Where can I check regular vacancy updates?

* How often do government pharma vacancies come?

* How much preparation time is usually needed?

* Is it worth choosing government pharma jobs compared to private jobs?

If anyone is currently working in a government pharma role or has cleared these exams, please share your experience and advice.

Thanks!

**TL;DR:** B.Pharm graduate looking for guidance on government pharma jobs, exams, vacancy sources, and preparation strategy.

Would you use an anonymous outfit feedback app? Looking for honest opinions.?

Hi everyone,

I'm in the **idea validation** stage and would love honest feedback before I invest time building this.

The concept is an app where people can upload outfit photos **without showing their face** and receive constructive feedback to improve their style.

Some ideas I'm considering:

* Get honest feedback and appreciation for your outfits.

* Save outfits you like from others to build your own wardrobe inspiration.

* Share outfit details (brand, price, links, etc.) to help others recreate the look.

* Create private groups (college, friends, workplace, etc.) to share outfits and get feedback from people you know.

* Explore outfits from the wider community for inspiration.

* Track your style and wardrobe over time.

My goal is to help people dress better, gain confidence, and discover new outfit ideas.

I'd love your honest opinions:

* Would you use an app like this? Why or why not?

* Which feature sounds the most valuable?

* What's missing?

* Does this solve a real problem, or would you just use Instagram, Reddit, or Pinterest instead?

* Would you recommend it to your friends?

I'm looking for honest criticism, not validation. If you think this idea won't work, I'd genuinely like to know why.

**TL;DR:**

Idea validation: An anonymous outfit feedback app with wardrobe inspiration, outfit details, private groups, and community feedback. Would you use it? Why or why not?

Building an anonymous outfit feedback app – would you actually use this?

Hi everyone!

I'm building an app that helps people improve their style without worrying about showing their identity.

**The idea:**

* 📸 Upload outfit photos without revealing your face.

* 💬 Get honest feedback from the community.

* ❤️ Save outfits you like from others for inspiration.

* 👕 Build a stronger wardrobe over time.

* 📈 Track how your style improves over weeks or months.

* 🏆 (Future idea) Friendly challenges with friends or college classmates.

My target users are students and fashion enthusiasts who want to dress better but don't always have someone to ask for honest opinions.

I'm still validating the idea, so I'd really appreciate honest feedback—even if you think it's a bad idea.

**A few questions:**

  1. Would you actually use an app like this? Why or why not?

  2. What would motivate you to upload your outfits?

  3. What would stop you from using it?

  4. Would anonymous posting make you more comfortable?

  5. Would you trust feedback from strangers, AI, or a combination of both?

  6. What features would make you come back regularly?

  7. Is there anything similar you already use?

  8. If this app existed today, what would make you download it instead of just posting on Instagram, Pinterest, or Reddit?

I'm looking for brutally honest feedback before investing months into building it. Feel free to be as critical as you want—it'll help me improve the product.

confused about career?

I'm 25 m and genuinely confused about what direction to take my life.

I have a real passion for filmmaking — storytelling, direction — it genuinely excites me. But I also feel this pressure to appear "safe" and pursue an MBA through CAT because that's what society around me validates.

Here's my situation:

\- Not from a well-off family, so financial risk is very real for me

\- No film industry connections or formal training yet

The honest truth? I'm more drawn to filmmaking, but I don't know where to even start — film school, self-learning on YouTube, I have no roadmap.

For those who've pursued creative careers without a safety net — how did you start? Was it worth it? And for those who chose the MBA route despite a passion elsewhere — do you regret it or did it actually help?

Not looking for "follow your dreams" advice. Looking for real experiences from people who've been financially constrained and still had to make this call.

Any guidance appreciated.

\---

\*\*TL;DR:\*\* 25M, passionate about filmmaking but financially not in a position to take blind risks. Also considering CAT/MBA out of societal pressure but heart isn't in it. Don't know where to start with either. Looking for real advice from people who've been in a similar spot.
