Is it still possible to get a laptop loaned from the It office? My laptop that I’ve used for the past 2 school years suddenly stopped working and I need a new one asap until I get it fixed. I went to the IT loan portal but I could only get a Duo key and nothing else so I’m debating on driving there tomorrow to get one.

So I had my omen laptop since mid 2024 and it’s been running great no problems but then one day I opened it up and the screen flickered for a good 10 seconds, thought it was weird but then when I tried to do a update the laptop seemingly stopped working, the screen was continuously black and power button didn’t work, I did every reset method possible until it suddenly worked alright for a bit, I thought it was just a small glitch but then a day later the screen went completely black and the power button flickered after I pressed it to turn on and now it’s just sitting there and idk what to do, charging works fine and the light works from orange to white so I know it’s not completely dead but school starts in less than a week and I got no laptop.

I’ve heard that this could very well be a hall sensor issue but I just want to confirm it really is because Im not really knowledgeable in computers but if it’s something more serious like a faulty motherboard or overheated gpu then I’d send it to a repair shop, otherwise I would open it up myself.

I turned on my laptop after about a week of not using it, and it ran fine until I got a notification from windows of an important update to do. I put it off but then a few minutes later my screen keeps turning on and off and so I reset it by holding down the power button, but now it won’t even turn back on. The charging light works, it went from orange to white now fully charged and I don’t get what happened maybe some kinda of glitch in trying to do that update mentioned before. Can anybody give me some tips?

small update: it turned on for a full minute and I even entered my password but the screen started flickering again from black and the power light also kept turning off and on and now it’s back again to black, sometimes the fans turn on and stop

In the movie Tom and Jerry The fast and furry, one of the racers is stuck in quicksand and contacts their insurance provider to get help, the computer asks if they are in a Amazonian Jungle, East Asian jungle or Belgian Congo jungle, which is confusing because Congo around 2005 was not controlled by Belgium, and hasn’t been for 45 years, since 1960. So that means in this Tom and Jerry world the Congo didn’t gain independence or the Belgians occupied Congo again.

I’m about to start the job and I have my first day coming up. During the scheduling I asked for my Friday 4pm to be moved to 5pm because my colleges classes that day end at 3:45pm, so to give me enough time I moved it up and they let me. But afterwards I’m realizing I also gotta do this for Wednesday. If I call now would they let me make this additional change or should I wait until I’m there?

Hey guys, I’ve been following Word Load Teams guide on patching the game but it’s not working, I have all the right patches in the folder and Delta patcher, plus the rom I got from vimms which Should be the right one (SLPS-02020). But when I’m trying to patch it says wrong file, which doesn’t make sense because I’m applying disc 1 to patch 1 it should work no? I’m not sure if I have the wrong version or I should just look for an already patch game but even that is confusing to find. Any help?
