Brought my 4 year old son camping at a local state park because he’s recently taken an interest in stargazing and this is our ‘neighbor’

We’ll try again next weekend buddy, I’m sorry

Plans got ruined, husband left early for his boyfriends drag show, wife and I made due. Many seed bred, Velveta as cheese, creamy chicken and twist soup.

Week 6 update: Framing video walkthrough of “impossible house”

Howdy folks, week 6 update here. Appreciate the continued support and will try and get to all DMs when possible.

Here’s a rendering of the complete elevation with our stone of choice and the Hardie Board (espresso color finish), but we’re most excited about the stamped concrete porch and paths.

We broke ground April 3rd of last month. Check the previous post to see the scope of project thus far. Site prep, foundation, full basement pour (60x55), and 5000 tons of dirt, and so far at $124,000. Slightly below budget as we stand, but haven’t seen the invoices for last 8 days.

The framing crew (4 gents) was out today on Saturday getting it done. Brought the gang a 24ct of cold Gatorade and some lunch and walked around while they were taking lunch. They told me they’re doing 7 to 7.

I asked them if they always work with my GC, they do, I asked how long they have, they said 15 years.

Anyways here’s the link to the video. How are they doing?

Blue line = screen location

Red line = future wood platform

9ft ceilings in this basement.

Going to do my electrical walkthrough in about 1.5 months. I’ll need to tell the builder where to put electrical and other optical lines in the ceiling, and I want to know where I should have the electrician install outlets?

Floor will be carpeted, not unfinished (old blueprints)

Thank you!
