Help me buy?

Okay so I’m definitely going to buy a Toyota Highlander. My only issue I’m facing is, what year, model, and if I should buy new or used? I do not mind used, since it tends to be cheaper, but only issue I have is hidden problems, high mileage, or the feeling of being scammed. So my questions are:
- What year should I buy (if looking for old and new. And why)
- What should I look for (in the sense of miles. I want a car that will last me years to come and won’t break down when I’m traveling)
- should I buy from Dealership, Facebook marketplace, Online, or some automotive shop
- how much should I expect to pay, new and used
I appreciate your time

Help me find

Is there anyway to find a Highlander with a parabolic sunroof/moonroof? I want to buy one with that feature between the years 2020-2026 but I am having difficulty trying to find any. Oahu, Hawaii, Houston TX, Or Tampa Florida area (I travel between those three places a lot) and it’s just a dream feature for a car I want. Anyone can help?

Need help choosing a car

So I currently live in Hawaii, but I will be moving back to Texas soon. (Also I have a partner I would to travel with, and if not my partner than 3 of my best friends) But I have a dream of exploring America, each state and what they’re known for and I want a car just for that. I just don’t what to settle for, but here’s what I’m looking for in a car (List not in order)
- Spacious enough to be comfortable but not so big that I end up skipping a bunch of parking because I’m scared my car won’t fit between the lines/car
- A car that can handle the deserts heat and snow
- Quiet while driving long distances
- can handle driving long distances, great MPG
- known to last years and overall reliable
- has some speed to it where I can comfortably overpass cars (not looking for a race car, but one that can still reach high speeds if I’d like speed for just a bit)
- amazing for camping
- I don’t care much about style, but if it looks cool that would be cool too
- would love a sun/moon roof for star gazing
- one that can be bought pre own (since new cars are pricier)
- I plan on being a travel nurse once I finish my clinical hours, so that’s another reason, so a car that can feel homey even in times that needs.

Is that too much to ask for? Would love to see some recommendations and as to why. I thought about a camper van, but I don’t know about living the van life as of now! Thank you
