Perguntas de um futuro morador do Rio

Oi!

Sou argelino e meu amigo é marroquino.

Real and useful automation vs "cool but useless" gadgets

Hi, I’m diving into the big topic of automation and I don’t find it easy to distinguish between what actually saves time/money and what is just a "cool but useless" gadget. I'm trying to cut through the hype to know what really works, and would love your take on it.

  • What specific tasks are you actually automating right now? (And if you aren't yet, is it an actual priority or just a "nice to have"?)
  • Are you building these workflows yourselves, or outsourcing them? If it’s outsourced, do you prefer a "surgical fix" (they pitch a specific solution to a known problem) or an "on-demand partner" (you discuss your mess and they figure it out as you need)?
  • What's your actual stance on the current AI transition concerning automation, and on the other aspects of your activity as well ?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Life as a foreigner in Rio: food, sports, areas...

Bom dia!

I am an online freelancer and I am planning to relocate to Brazil, Rio for now. I have a few questions about life here as a foreigner:

  • What are the easiest ways to live here on a budget? Where do people usually go to eat cheaply or do groceries in Rio or in Brazil in general?
  • What are the best ways to get around? Buses, metro, or is it better to have your own vehicle (scooter, car, etc.)?
  • Which areas of Rio are less touristy and less expensive (I am thinking especially of Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon), but still not too dangerous?
  • If anyone is into MMA or BJJ, how is training here? Are there good gyms with English-speaking coaches?

Thank you very much for your help!

Personal Trainers, Fitness Coaches : how are you handling your marketing on Instagram?

Hi folks, I’m currently digging into how top personal trainers and fitness coaches are handling their marketing on Instagram in 2026.

Is Instagram your main acquisition channel, the only you rely on, or do you have other ways to reach out to potential clients ?

And is acquisition your main pain point in your business overall by the way ?

Any insights or feedback would be so invaluable, for me and for everybody else around here.

Thanks!
