1. The camera is on them. We can not see the crowd. From the clips I've seen there is no camera on the crowd at all, no room sweep and we don't see the audience at all.
2. The crowd has no microphones. So we can't hear the crowd at all. We just hear them pausing and responding to what they can hear.
