I just turned 32.

I’m not married. I don’t have kids. I don’t have a huge amount of savings, and I don’t own a house and lot.

But I do have a place I can call my own, even if I’m renting. I have my 5-year-old dog. I’m in a healthy, progressive relationship. My sister is now an RN and is already able to help our family.

And most of all, every member of my family has HMO coverage — even my high school sister.

It may not look like a big win to some people. But having a health card for everyone in my family is HUGE to me.

Because at the end of the day, success isn’t always about what you own. Sometimes, it’s knowing that the people you love are protected when life gets difficult.

I may not have everything figured out at 32, but I’m grateful for how far we’ve come.

And honestly, that’s a win I’ll always be proud of. 🤍

Hello! I’ve been working in Corporate HR for 9 years and have been with 4 companies so far. I’ve always moved from one company to another mainly for career progression.

Currently, I’m working night shift supporting US HR. The job is stable, there’s no overtime, and I can take 5 days or even longer vacation without worrying too much about work. Compared to local HR, I don’t really get mobilized while I’m on PTO, which gives me a lot of freedom.

But honestly, I sometimes miss the adrenaline of working in local HR. I miss being hands-on, dealing with employees, handling different HR concerns, and feeling that I’m really challenged.

So I’ve been exploring opportunities.

Then this year, my boyfriend and I started traveling around Luzon by motorcycle. And somehow, the adrenaline I used to look for in my career, I’m now getting from traveling and having adventures. 😂🏍️

Now here comes my dilemma.

I received a job invitation, went through the interview process, and was offered a day-shift, onsite Local HR role at a supervisory level.

This is literally the kind of opportunity I’ve been looking for—career progression, leadership experience, and getting back into local HR.

But the timing is confusing.

I finally reached a point where I genuinely enjoy my free time. I can travel, take long weekends, plan motorcycle trips, and actually disconnect from work.

I know that if I accept this new role, especially as a supervisor and local HR, I might have to sacrifice a lot of that freedom. I’m expecting that for at least the first year, traveling may become very limited while I adjust, establish myself, and prove that I can handle the role.

Part of me says:

“This is the career opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Take it.”

But another part says:

“You finally have a life outside work that makes you happy. Why give that up?”

I’m already 32, no kids, renting a place of my own. I’ve also reached a point where I’ve completed the support I needed to give my sister—she’s now a registered nurse—and I’m still helping my parents with their medications and other needs.

For those who have experienced something similar—would you choose career growth and accept the supervisory role, or stay in a stable job that gives you more freedom and time to enjoy life? Salary wise, + 10-20k increase from my current role.

Hello. I posted last time na baler kami pero since nasa aurora nmn na, direcho na kami sa casiguran then baler.

We mostly cook our meals kasi sakitin ang tiyan ko and tipid. Saan ba makakabili ng lobster, scallops or any na fresh seafood sa casiguran?

Mag stay kami sa City proper for a day, a day din sa casapsapan beach.

Lately I am having anxiety or parang panic attack na ata to. Randomly kinakapos ako ng hininga, bigla na lang nag pop up ung death sa utak ko. Ano na mangyayari sa akin, Heaven or Hell ba ko? Paano ko mamatay etc. Few minutes lang nmn sya pero mejo frequent na unlike before.

Hello. My braces have been on for almost 4 years already. I got them in Cavite, but 2 years ago I moved to Taguig because of work in BGC. I was still able to go back monthly for adjustments before, but lately things changed and priorities shifted, so it’s been really hard to keep up with appointments. I’ve been moving my schedule from 1 week to even 3 weeks late sometimes.

How do I properly inform my current dentist that I can no longer continue my treatment there? Also, is it okay to ask for temporary retainers first so my teeth won’t move while I look for a new dentist closer to my area?

Pa reco naman, may small aso ako need 2br 1 ride to bgc or c5 lang sana. huhu currently nasa north signal kami ang ganda dto! Problema nagtaaas from 10k to 15k ung landlord namin 😭

Marami ako nababasa na negative reviews kay EW pero sharing my stories.

During pandemic nalubog ako sa 3 cc, app loans etc then last year I started paying na via collection agency.

Nag apply ako randomly sa EW CC and after a month, approved with 70k limit agad. I have pending debt pa sa 2 cc nun aa. Inalagaan ko, paying on time, grocery lang lock if hindi important ung pag gagamitan.

This month, i paid ung 1 cc ko via agency ulit, then nag apply ako ng CL increase kay EW, approved 20k. Yay! Its just small to some pero laking tulong na neto lalo pag may emergency.

Unti unti ko ng nabuild ung credit score ko and thanks to EW may back up ako in case of pandemic ulit (wG nmn sana).

Kaya kahit may annual fee sya, di ko to bibitawan ♥️
