AITA for calling this guy out?

I live in a town that’s not too big or too small, where pretty much everyone knows everyone and, unfortunately, everyone knows everyone’s business.
I have a close family member who struggles with drug addiction, and it’s obviously a very sensitive subject for me and my family.
Recently, someone in my friend group shared an AI song someone else made with Suno in our group chat. The song was basically making fun of or trashing different people who are known around town, and there happened to be a line about my family member.
I got really angry when I heard it, so I called him and confronted him about it, not insulting him but telling him it was a slimey move. He said he didn’t do it with bad intentions but refused to tell me who send it to him.
Now my whole friend group is angry at me for the way I reacted, and nobody seems to think he did anything wrong apparently.
For context, the guy I confronted has a physical disability, but no mental disability or anything that would prevent him from understanding what he was doing.
I understand that I was angry and maybe I could have handled the situation differently, but I genuinely felt like he crossed a line by bringing my family member into it.
Am I the asshole for calling him out?

Is my girlfriend taking it too far, or did I bring this on myself?

So my girlfriend and I have been together for a while. A few months ago, she had a little bit of a belly, and I stupidly made a comment about it. I told her that she had “too much of a belly” to wear certain fitted clothes. Looking back, I know it was an asshole thing to say, and I understand why it bothered her.
Well, she completely turned things around. She started working out, got really fit, and now she has visible abs.
Now she will NOT let me forget what I said.
She constantly jokes that I’m “pregnant,” asks when I’m due, pats my stomach and says things like “the baby is getting big,” and whenever I wear a fitted shirt she’ll look at my stomach and start laughing.
The other day she literally looked at my belly, rubbed it and said, “Guess who has the body for fitted clothes now?”
Should I be mad about it?

Tables turned

Have a little story today that has me feeling petty yet victorious as a girl. I ran into a guy I used to go to school with at the beach. Back when we were at school together, he was super fit and had a six-pack, but he was always commenting on what I wore. If I wore fitted clothes, he’d tell me I had too much of a belly to be wearing them and would make me feel insecure about my body.
We stopped going to school together about two years ago, and apparently a lot can change in two years, because I’ve worked out and now I feel like he wouldnt pick on me.
Now, I’m not trying to body-shame, but when I saw him, I looked at his stomach and honestly had to do a double take. He had developed a pretty noticeable beer belly.
So i told him “guess who can wear the fitted clothes now?” Lol
He immediately tried to suck his stomach in, but girl… it was STILL noticeable. I had to turn away because I was tryin g not to laugh.
I know it was petty, but after all the times he made me feel bad about what I wore and my body, seeing the tables turn like that felt ridiculously satisfying.
Moral of the story: maybe don’t tell someone what they’re allowed to wear because of their body😂

Lionel Richie about Chris Brown and Usher tour

The OG feels some type of way about the tour. I think the older and newer generations should communicate with each other differently, especially when everyone involved is crazy talented. What y’all think?

Same treatment

Yesterday I ran into my ex at the beach. He used to be super fit and had a six-pack, but he constantly commented on my stomach and told me I had “too much of a belly.” We broke up three months ago, and now our appearances have basically reversed lol…
I walked up to him, tapped his stomach and reminded him of what he used to say to me. Honestly, it felt good.
In your opinion, is this understandable given the context, or should comments about someone’s appearance never be returned regardless of what they previously said to you?

Tyga is denying that the vocals on his album are AI-generated

At this point, I’m convinced he’s trolling. I’ve heard “POWERED DREAMS,” and the vocals and writing sound blatantly AI-generated

Tyga is taking the AI album on tour? WTF is going on?

I can’t believe Tyga is really about to pull up to venues and perform some Suno sh!t. Somebody’s actually paying for this?? Is he really gonna perform that sh!t live? There’s gotta be some kind of strategy behind this. I think people gotta pay attention to this, because there are probably some big companies watching

This album revived brutal music criticism

Clearly being his worst album, while still containing a good amount of great R&B, this album was not expected to be this confrontational and morally questionable in so many different ways. I think it shook music journalism to its core. Tyga would’ve never gotten a 0 if it weren’t for BROWN

Tyga flopped

I’ve seen a lot of discussion about Tyga and this AI-generated album. It’s sad because, while he’s never been the best rapper alive, he’s made some work that showed real potential as a West Coast hip-hop MC, like the album with Chris Brown, and he was an important face of the swag-rap wave of the early 2010s. But, as we know, these so-called Gs only care about the bankroll. He ain’t getting one with this shit.

Is Tyga’s album the first deliberately AI-made album by a non-AI artist?

I read Pitchfork’s review, where they gave him a zero and said the album made the world a worse place. But it got me wondering: is this the first AI album? I’m sure people have already skipped over some by now

Bruno Mars’ The Romantic is his worst album

Enough time has passed to say it: I feel like he’s past his prime with this one, which is sad because he arguably had the best run of any male pop superstar in the 2010s.
That’s not to say this album doesn’t showcase his obvious talent—there are a few standout tracks that are absolute bangers, like “Cha Cha” and “Risk It All.” But overall, I feel like this project is missing the soul that made his previous work so special.
And “I Just Might” fcking sucks.

Usher’s music has lost its touch

I feel like this isn’t talked about enough, but Usher’s music has really gone downhill. It’s still selling mostly because it’s Usher. I’m a sucker for everything he did up to Confessions. After that, I think the quality started to decline a bit, but once trap music entered the picture, I honestly have no idea why he started painting himself as this low-key bad boy. The same goes for Ne-Yo. These guys used to be the gentlemen!

Why are people hating on Tyla this much?

I saw Tyla live in 2023 by accident, before she blew up. She put on a pretty good show, nice vocals and good dancing. She’s definitely a cheat code when it comes to looks on stage, but it still felt like a young act with potential.
Then her debut album came out, and I think it was pretty brilliant for nowadays pop. I know she’s a blatant attempt to fill the Rihanna void, but musically she’s good in her Afro-pop&B lane. I find her music much more appealing than someone like Zara Larsson, whom the industry has been trying to shove down people’s throats for the past ten years.

Who’s the better producer: Kanye West or Pharrell Williams?

Two of the greatest producers in hip hop. I think Kanye’s biggest talent is his ability to bring out the best in other artists and find their sweet spot, while Pharrell is more like the Quincy Jones of this generation, a producer with an incredible ear who can shape eras

Heartbreak on a Full Moon is Chris Brown’s best album

Most people hated on it without listening to it. Those who did listen to it, they know about the emotional depth of that album

Waves is the best song on TLOP

Damn that shit sounds angelic. Kanye’s production genius can really bring the best out of other artists. This is a prime example

The Weeknd is not an R&B artist

I’m confused as to why people keep labeling him as an R&B artist when the vast majority of his music has been pop. R&B-influenced pop? Absolutely, but at its core, his music is undeniably pop. That’s not to say his music isn’t great—in fact, I think he’s the current king of pop—but placing him primarily under another genre takes away from that recognition.

I can say the same thing about Rihanna, and a few other acts
