Altering a Date Wheel on a Quartz pocket watch?

Years ago, I had a wristwatch, with a date wheel that had Spanish or English days of the week on it. That feature made me buy the watch. 😄

How difficult is it for a watch repair person to replace a date wheel in a quartz watch? I’m thinking about finding a watch I like, and having the date wheel repainted to another language.

Absolutely, this will cost me more than the watch is worth I know, but, up to a point, I’m considering going to those lengths.

Thanks for your comments and information.

Looking for pocket watch

With a date window, and 40s-70s, but a mechanical pocket watch. Am in the US.

Looking for a working example under $100; basically, I am in general interested in a dial that I find attractive. Quality, appearance, then price.

Brand is after those 3 factors.

TIA!

[Has Anyone seen this model wristwatch?]

Has anyone seen an example of this Waltham model wristwatch? I have a sentimental interest in looking for a replacement. This happens to be a screenshot I found of the sought model I'm looking for. It's a mechanical model, and should be 60s or earlier, with luminescent hands, and maybe red pointer on the second hand 🤔?

I appreciate learning more about it (not likely, but 🤷‍♂️), I appreciate there are so many models, it'll be a fluke if a collector ever noticed this model, but I'm still going to ask. 👏🏻

I honestly prefer models with a date feature (did this dial ever come with a date feature?!), and if someone knows what model this is so I could more easily look for a replacement, somewhere.

Thanks for reading, and any comments you can offer to add to help in this search. 👍🏻

Pocketwatch with date function?

I am interested in pocketwatches, I have a 1927 South Bend I like as a sentimental, special occasion piece, but I appreciate having a date function.

I’m resigned to that ruling out a typical mechanical pocket watch from the Big Names, but I would be satisfied with a capable, name brand mechanical pocket watch from a more modern era, 60s or earlier, as an EDC piece.

What are some recommended brands or models I could be looking for? Caravelle? Lebernco? Westclox? idk, I am interested in learning.

Also, I understand, with watches like I’m willing to purchase, a service will cost more than the intrinsic watch [HA! Got around the word restrictions!😁], but are there post-antique watches with mechanisms that still maintain decent service life?

ty!
