Dreams and Realities

Actually, by nature and personality, I really like going to bed early and waking up early; I've been like that since childhood. But lately I've noticed I'm having serious sleep problems. I especially have trouble falling asleep sometimes, and I try taking various dietary supplements, but I really miss the times when I could sleep without them. For example, for about two months now, maybe even longer, I can only fall asleep at night around 3, 4, sometimes 5 in the morning, and I wake up around 9 or 10 in the morning feeling unrested. I'm quite aware that I'm not getting enough sleep, that I'm not entering REM sleep, so when I wake up I don't feel rested; it's just like I've only closed my eyes for a little while and then opened them again, and all day long I'm living sleepy. If anyone has experienced a similar problem before, or has recently encountered one and found a solution, and can offer help, I would be very grateful.

Ps. I also attribute this to the level of fatigue my body experiences during the day. Perhaps if I tire my body out too much, I might inevitably be able to sleep long and restfully, but I don't want to tire myself out just for that reason. Is there no other way besides taking supplements or overexerting myself? I want natural things, or I'm looking for a natural solution.

My cousin of 27 years and her husband cut me out of their lives because I don't have money. Do you think I'm in the wrong?

The whole story began exactly two months ago. It starts with my cousin (27F)—who’s been inseparable from me since childhood—and her husband (25M) trying to cut me out of their lives because I didn’t have any money. Are you ready?

My cousin and her husband have some very close friends whom I’m also close with. They’re a married couple, and from time to time, my cousin and her husband think they’re jealous of them. Some of their behavior might seem that way, but I don’t care. Then, since the husband of this couple works out of town, when he came back, he suggested we all go on a trip to another city together. My cousin and her husband said, “Well, if that’s the case, let’s go before they do.” I was already angry at this couple for a certain reason—I’d been used without realizing it one day to get back at my cousin and her husband. That’s why I said, “No matter what, I’m coming too.”

We planned a weekend getaway. But shortly after the plans were made, I quit my job. My financial situation suddenly deteriorated. I hadn't even received my last paycheck. Believe me, I was experiencing an incredible financial crisis and I was thinking. I only have one last paycheck left, which is about half of the minimum wage, and after that, I have no other paycheck. If I spend half the money on this trip, what will I do until I find a job? The day before they left, I explained the situation to them: "I'm so sorry, I can't come. I'm in a serious financial crisis. I haven't even received my paycheck, and I have no other income."

The response from my cousin's husband was cold and indifferent: "You don't want to come. The plan was made, there's no going back." Upon this, I explained more clearly how difficult my situation was: "I couldn't even eat lunch at school today. I can't even afford coffee unless a friend buys it for me." The only reply to this message was "Suit yourself." They brushed me off.

And after that no body called me and they stopped call me and hanging me out. Although this situation, I called them after the trip and I said let's meet and do something but they sait we are not available. Then they again did not called me until now. We are not coming together.

Now I'm here and I'm asking you: Do you think I'm in the wrong? Does withdrawing from a plan at the last minute because I don't have the money deserve this kind of treatment? Or was their attitude truly unacceptable? What would you have done?

How can I handle WhatsApp

Lately, I want to quit smart phone and I want to use a dumb phone such as new Nokia 3310. Because in my country, 2G connection will be ended day by day. And I need a phone which has 4G. Whatever, I want to ask a question. How can I handle WhatsApp situation. Because we should use it for our works. In my country, if you are working I'm somewhere you should use it. They send some notifications via it. I am a teacher and they are opening some WhatsApp groups and they send some important messages. Also I am studying at a university and if a professor announces something we can learn with class WhatsApp group. For example if a professor cancels a class we can not learn without WhatsApp. So what can I do? I do not want to use some dumb phone which has WhatsApp, Android. Because If I should, I can continue with my smartphone. Because it loses all meaning. I have a tablet, I can check it on it but it is not useful and I can pick everywhere and everytime.
