Like seriously, what is going on with these prices. It's like Canada Post doesn't WANT me to sell on ebay anymore? Shipping labels for small boxes were like $7 a couple years ago, then last year they were always around $8-$8.5. NOW they're consistently $9+. Have a cheap item I'm shipping in a small box, $9.41!? WTF. It's impossible to make any money with that because buyers don't want to buy an item if shipping costs $10 because don't forget Ebay fees. Sold an item $4.90+$8=$12.90 - $2.29 ebay fees -$9.41 , I made a whopping $1.21, and I paid $0.80 for the toy so woo hoo I profited but like, this isn't worth all the work and trouble if Canada Post keeps jacking up the prices. Next year it'll be $10-$11!!

I am on the precipice of buying the Jotunheim 3 and Mimir DAC. In fact I might even opt for the Brilliant in Black offer for a Dan Clark Noire X with the Jotunheim3 - IF I do this, it comes with the Mesh DAC. But then...the Mimir offers the Forkbeard (for $50 extra). But then, isn't the Mimir a DAC, so why would I need the Mesh DAC? Or is the Mesh DAC an EQ, so then I wouldn't need the Forkbeard? Can someone please explain to me what these components are, and what I do/don't need, and what you best recommend I buy?

Will the Schiit Jotunheim 3 ($499) with the Mimir DAC ($299) be a good combo that will elevate my listening experience? I currently have a Fiio K13 and my headphones are Noire X's and Final DX3000CL's, although I want to buy some high end open backs. Somebody said "Your Dan Clark headphones are low impedance planar magnetic which would be better run on a solid state amplifier." So I guess this is that? Don't know what a solid state amplifier is vs others. Says it's modular, and a amp+preamp. I listen to a lot of EDM/Hardstyle/Acid Techno. And I produce music as well as a recent hobby. I could be upselled on higher, if it's worth it, although I've heard the Bifrost is basically as good as the Mimir, and the Gungir and Yggdrasil are probably out of my budget for now.
