So for some short tldr context:

He's been playing for a while but mainly pvp and no bosses. And I'm rather completely new to it in general.

Our goal is to do all the bosses on all the maps (the free maps that is

What we are looking for:

PVE (not pvp)

We want boosted stuff, like tame speed, harvesting, and breeding/mating/maturing. (But we don't want this stuff crazy boosted. Like insta tame, or one pick of a push and ya got 7k berries🤣, if that makes sense)

So basically boosted but not busted.

And preferably a cluster, so we can transfer dinos to the next maps as we move along. So someone that has most if not all the maps on their servers

I saw in the comments of that post alot of frequent members both on the requesting and giveaway side...who could no longer participate.

I also saw members who just kinda comment and post here and there....but don't do anything wrong...and are nice people. who also could no longer participate.

I screenshoted some of your messages. And took them and my thoughts to the admins and the other mods.

And I can happily, say, we will (if not already) be lowering the karma count requirement from 250 to 100

I know for some of y'all, that might still not be low enough, but you have to understand we go any lower and it can't do its job to keep scammers and spammers and bad eggs out as well

The admin, very shortly, most likely by end of night or early morning.

Will be implementing a karma system, to prevent some spam, and people who just come in and request and dip.

The min karma required to post (and I'm assuming comment) will be 250 Karma.

We all discussed it...and tried to keep in mind, that people like myself or are active on Reddit, but don't care for or about karma might not have a high amount....or maybe again like myself, maybe ya just have some hot takes in communities you take part in leading to ya having some low karma.

But we also are aware we needed to implement something, to lower some of the bad eggs and spammers

We hope this change helps better the sub even further. And hope all of you understand. And if you have any questions about this change, feel free to comment and hopefully one of us admins can get to you quickly.

Please, PLEASE do not post your phone numbers, emails, socials, credit card or payment infos, addresses etc....

with Xbox gifting....the most someone should need, in order to gift you. Is to add you to their friends list via your GT (gamer tag)

And if for whatever reason someone wants to gift you a gift card code...if possible request they just give you the code via messages

And if worst comes to worse, and someone tries to gift you a card via email...use a burner email and keep it only in the dms. To be safe

Been seeing a lot of the whole "dead sub" and "is this sub dead" posts Where people post and comment, complaining about how it's only filled with people making requests or "spamming"

Y'all realize, this is a community funded sub? Meaning if 50% of the participants, just request stuff and don't gift anyone. And 40% of the participants just sit around waiting to snag up codes and don't actually post or comment unless it's to be rude to someone. That means only a measly 10% is actually helping others and or hosting give aways

And that measly 10% doesn't ALWAYS have a code to hand out let alone the exact game a person is looking for.

Which will mean, a lot of posts you will see, are going to be requests...and tbh I don't understand the complaints of people making requests, in a sub dedicated to people asking for games to get help, when they can't afford it for whatever reason...

Like I get it, its also supposed to be a place where people host giveaways, or want to help...but again, that's up to the COMMUNITY of the sub, to actually partake in that side of the sub...

(LASTLY, maybe consider people just don't want to interact with ignorant people. I see so many of you, with your heads shoved firmly up your own rectums....spouting out hypocrisy and judgement. Mocking people for asking for games...when you're in a sub dedicated to that yourself....or just in general being rude or disrespectful to each other.

This sub is basically inactive...got a couple people that post...but get next to no responses for help. Which is kinda bad when the sub is meant for people to find help....and trade loot

On top of this I already have an established borderlands DC and FB group...that could help bring some activity in.

THERE IS NOTHING TO PROTEST, the WHOLE EFFIN REASON WE ARE IN THIS BOAT is because across All forms of media and entertainment (books/tv/movies/games/music), data and studies and COMMON EFFIN SENSE shows people prefer to and/or out of pure convenience, use DIGITAL MEDIA over physical. wether it's renting or buying (on apps like Google play or apple tv) or streaming/subscription services (via spotify/Netflix/YT/gamepass and PS Plus).

First off, Sony did not kill physical games (yet)

They said start of 2028, that's like a year and a half away (that's a year and a half where this can be reversed, changed, altered, and even if not, is not now).

So let's stop the false click bait claims of "Sony kills physical media, then has outage".....these are two separate and far apart events, one of which hasn't ACTUALLY happened yet.

SECONDLY

if you had a PHYSICAL disc to any online game (Seige, cod, fort, etc) you would STILL not be able to play...due to the psn outage, as it can't connect to you the online network servers of psn.

IN TERMS OF OFFLINE GAMES, physical or digital, even when there's an outage, so long as the account that owns the game, is the one trying to play the game, and as long as said account that owns the game has the console being played on as the "home console" (which it should assuming it's yours) you get to still play your DIGITAL and PHYSICAL games offline while psn or your wifi down..

the ONLY 2 WAYS your NOT able to play your games on your account when no wifi or PSN down...is if the console your playing on is not set as the HOME consoles. (Meaning your game sharing elsewhere)

Or

If the game your trying to play requires a connection...to WiFi and PSN to play...which even a physical disc won't change that

And mind you Xbox does this same thing

Lil bit of context:

Loved KF2, played it all the time with my oldest and my nephew... We all were hyped for 3 when the rumors first started about it....game took forever to even be announced my kid and nephew got tired of waiting....lost interest...I held out.

The game got announced, against all the negative news around it, I pre ordered anyways... because I wanted to try and form my own opinion.

Turned out, the game wasn't for me, at launch...I felt the ppl was right...got a refund.

I haven't seen much about this game on my social feeds.

Kinda forgot it even existed, till I saw a $30 (I think) sale on psn..

So I'm curious.

It's been about a year? How's the game? Is it better? Fixed? Worth it?

(Ik ik, I could just look on YouTube...but I prefer to hear from actual players and ppl speak on it...not possible sponsors or people who just say what's popular for clout and views and $$)

I'm also aware it's on sale, so technically what's it hurt to try...but I already refunded this game once at launch, so if I get it and still don't like it...I don't think I can refund again

And just because someone can't afford a $20-$60 game...doesn't mean they are "prioritizing the wrong things" by asking for a game....some people live paycheck to paycheck on strict food/bills budgets...

Some people just barely scrape by on disability from medical issues they've had.

They take care of the important stuff but don't have the extra funds. For games or other fun things/hobbies

And to be real honest with y'all, some of y'all commenting this kind of stuff...are also in this sub...and asking for stuff...and therefore need to get a reality check.

My nephew is playing the game for his 2nd time, and I'm finally using c4$h after a long break, and more recently catching the other 4 up to uvh 7 and level 60 and all the new content.

So now him and I are trying to get uvh 7. And we are STUCK on uvh 4. We have all the prerequisites leading up to uvh 4 done. We did the first vault boss mission she gave us...and now she won't give us the 2nd or 3rd so we cant progress????

We've tried solo lobbies.

Tried switching uvh 4 on and off.

Tried closing the app and re opening

Tried save quiting and re entering the game

NOTHING WORKS.

So if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Plz and thanks..

Also, it's just sad to see. I went through this game lvl 1 to uvh 6 8 times all 4 VHs on Xbox and then on PS with little to no issues. So I've spent a lot of time defending and going to bat for the game against haters always calling it broken, as it wasn't my experience.

But this recent playthrough as c4$h and the 2 playthroughs my nephew just did...has been nothing but bugs and glitches, that I've had to spend more time on Google or reddit trying to figure out how to fix, then actually playing the game. And unfortunately it's a 1st time experience to the game and series for my nephew so that kinda sucks too

So I just ran through the game helping my nephew do his first playthrough (he was vex) we did all the content in the game...got him and all 4 my VHS to lvl 60 and UVH7

So now we decided to do another playthrough as C4$H as I haven't used him, and it would only be my nephews 2nd go at the game

He decided he wanted to do the 30 start. That skips the campaign.

We decided to head up to terminus at around 31-32 to try and farm some bosses for some guns we knew we wanted for our builds...we noticed all the enemies and the bosses had red ⚠️ signs over them...so we assumed oh we are under levels (which is weird considering by 30 you be around that area of the game, and also it's supposed to scale to your level) so we farmed splash till level 35...we went back AND SAME DANG THING. So we are stuck in this splash zone loop...as we don't have the proper gear or skills yet to go around doing vile bounties. And we aren't trying to do side quests again. (We did them all on his run, and I've done them all on all 4 launch characters)..

So what's up? Anyone got any ideas on why this is happening? Or what level we need to be to be able to be in terminus and fight without the symbol popping up

Edit to add: we noticed uvh1 was on so tried turning that off, nothing. We tried booting up the game separately, nothing, we tried quitting and restarting the game... nothing

Some stand outs being (toredar, deluxo, mk1 oppressor, possible Mk 2 as well, and also scram jet)

Then we also got some of the better Imani tech cars on sale...

Like stinger TT and Buffalo stx and evx for 50%

And I mean rockstar did say they are giving us steep discounts and big money maker opportunities leading up to the DLC.

But this also can be a dangerous trap for some

Because u spend too much just cuz it's on sale and might not have enough for the dlc stuff coming

Here's my GTA Online 6 + Heist Cooldown Suggestion:

For starters and clarification, I'm Not sure what Rockstar will do with Online for GTA 6. We might get a full reset, a character transfer with money/items wiped, or just a continuation of current Online.

Either way, one change I’d love to see is how heist cooldowns work.

Because here's the Current problem imo - Cayo Perico solo:

1. Finish the finale

2. 2 hour 48 min cooldown before you can run it again on Hard

3. You can’t even start setups during that time

4. So it’s 2h 48m + 20 min of setups = 3h 10m before you can actually make money again

Here is My suggestion:

Let us start the next set of setups immediately after finishing the finale. But lock the finale itself behind the cooldown timer.

This is Why this works:

- Same money balance— You still can’t run the finale until the timer’s up

- No dead time — Gives players something productive to do during cooldown instead of sitting idle

- Better for solo grinders— You use the cooldown period to prep, so once it ends you’re ready to launch

Imo The cooldown should apply to the final payout, and the finale itself, but not the whole heist process. This way it Keeps the time-gate Rockstar wants, but respects the player’s time.

Any Thoughts?

This FRANCHISE (GTA) has done nothing but deliver BACK TO BACK peak Everytime a new one comes out.

It's always PEAK story, GOOD characters, AWESOME maps, it's always a step up with new mechanics and better graphics.

(When it comes to story modes)

And they have been making them for DECADES from Gameboys to now on ps5s and Xbox series Xs. They know what they are doing.

Let alone the fact they have been working on this one for 13+ years...the longest time cooking yet.

So in terms of GTA, and ESPECIALLY story mode...yeah Im not worried about being let down, even without seeing any gameplay...i'm also POSITIVE I'll get my money's worth, way more than $100 for that matter

And now let's look at rockstar as a studio...and the dev teams over the years.
