🚨⚠️Wanted to remind y'all and give y'all some heads up about things:⚠️🚨

1.) LINKS. Your post NEEDS to include official and safe links to the product/item your asking for.

(If your post doesn't have a link to the product...it will get removed...letting you know to add the link, and when you do you can repost) At first I started individually replying to people to avoid post take downs, but they got ingored most the time so I started just removing with a auto response....I understand it sucks to re type it...but add the link the first time and it saves us BOTH time

2.) No more than 1 request per day. That's 24 hours. If I've seen you made a post...and another post 12 or so hours ago (anything shorter than a day ago)...the most recent post will be removed and it will be a warning...after a while you'll just get a 3 day ban each time. (THIS IS NOT TO BE CIRCUMVENTED AND GONE AROUND BY USING ALT ACCOUNTS OR ASKING PEOPLE TO SHARE YOUR POST)

3.) low effort posts will be removed.

You don't have to go in DEEP detail on why you want the game and why you can't afford it...but a little reasoning on why you want the game, what region you are, what's the price, name of the game and the link...is at min required.

4.) this is less of a reminder but more of a heads up to requesters.....and I can't speak for everyone...but I've been around a lot of subs like this...and I know some people can take the whole "third times the charm" or "day 14 of asking" kind of headlines...as a major off putter. (It can come across to some that your a beggar or looking for a sympathy gift when it comes to that game...as you've spent multiple times and days asking for the same game with no luck )

You can do this (#4) if you choose. Just figured I'd let y'all know, and for those willing to listen to it, hopefully it will give ya a better chance at getting gifted

5.) DO NOT MESSAGE PEOPLE, WHO HAVE NOT ASKED TO BE MESSAGED, OR SPECIFICALLY HAVE SAID NOT TOO. (Basically ask permission before you message someone) Unless you're the giveaway host or gifter (obviously there you'd need to message them to give them their codes)

And have had no luck yet.

I seen palworld recently fully released...and been seeing all the praise it's been getting. I played a little bit of it back when it was free on or gamepass (forget Which) and loved it. But kinda backed off waiting for the full game

Would love to dive in again, and have something to do while the kids are at school. And the wife's at work (yes my wife works, but we are pretty much living paycheck to paycheck rn...so extra expenses like GP and games are out of the question until I can have some luck job hunting) and that's why I'm making the request.

And yet I've still had to remove about 3-4 posts today for this.

Sites like enaba, and g2a ARE NOT safe. Even just Googling these sites...you will see sites like the "trust worthy-ness" of sites like this, is purely on a base to base situation with everyone having a different experience or situation.

even I have had times where sites like these are fine and then other times, I have been scammed.

THE ISSUE WITH THIS:

When people go to gift someone a code from a site like this...

If the receiver claims the code didn't work, or they never got emailed a code etc....or vise versa the gifter claims they got scammed and never got the code themselves....

We as moderator cannot prove....whos telling the truth or not...as both party's can blame themselves and the site....

With Xbox and its Xbox store....that kinda stuff don't happen. So if someone brings proof via messages that they got sent a code from a gifter....but it's not working...we know the gifter is at fault

We can also have both sides prove via their transaction history on Xbox etc...

We CANT DO THAT when it's a 3rd party site...and if we can't prove anything we can't enforce anything.

Since this is the 2nd time I'm having to make a post about this..

And it's in the rules too....for now on a 2-3 day ban will be issued and you can take that time to familiarize with the rules

You would think after this long of being out on PS5 it would run smoother.

Anywho I'm a newer player to ark...know the basics...first time playing for this long straight tho, and first time following the story and beating the bosses.

I've beaten all the island bosses and scorched, naturally this means abberation is next...I went to abberation started looking round for a base spot and soon as I got to blue zone...just crash loop. THANKFULLY I managed to get myself killed so I could travel back to scorched and save my character....(I'm on a unofficial server cluster)

And while I'm grateful I managed to escape the crash loop long enough to retrieve my character....it doesn't help/change the issue on abberation... especially when it's not only a story map (so unskippable for this challenge) but also THE NEXT ONE when going by story order.

Things I've tried.

Just running through it (no dinos), still crashes.

The typical codes most people use on most servers (cloud and fog clear, lower grass size, turn down/off super bright glowy stuff), still crashes

I've checked reddit and Google and tried changing all kinds of settings and to no avail.

And I'm getting frustrated for 3 reasons...

1.) I set a goal/challenge out for myself, and can't complete it after getting this far.

AND

2.) since it took me about a month to beat scorched and the island....I unfortunately lost the window of opportunity for a refund

LASTLY

3.) so now because of reason 1 and 2 combined...I'm stuck sitting here staring at a game I spent $30 on....which now feels wasted as I can't play and do what I wanted to do.....and for that matter a map I paid for is completely unplayable, and for all I know... between my frequent but playable crashes on scorched and now this crash loop on abberation....that the other maps left won't be much better.

So PLEASE if ANYONE has a solution.

That doesn't involve going solo (playing with someone)

And doesn't involve not using cross platform (person I'm playing with is on Xbox)

This is a rule, but unfortunately can't be added to the rule list, as there's too many....but it will be enforced.

Now this is a rule that was spilt 50/50 with us mods.

Some didn't find it a issue.

Members have reached out about it...

Others have not .

But it has been ruled in favor of no longer allowing posts (requests or giveaways) to be about anything other than Xbox (this means NO STEAM, NO SWITCH, NO PS5)

for those maybe wondering, why?:

It's not a huge hurt to the community, this is true and why we been 50/50 on it....however it does impact the sub....when it's a Xbox sub...and post related to Xbox players REQUESTING or GIVING AWAY Xbox games...get pushed down by steam or other platform request....it's not great...as that lowers the chance that the Xbox player will get the Xbox game they are requesting...and that's unfortunate when it's meant to be a sub for Xbox people to get help getting Xbox games.

You can also look at it like this...imagine asking for a Xbox game...and you see all the posts above you about steam, switch etc...getting gifted, but you aren't

Or like this...you see a giveaway want to enter...but can't because it's for steam and you on Xbox.

It's not a great feeling, and shouldn't be happening here, imo.

And in terms of PC/Steam...there's Xbox PC gamepass and games...so I'm not sure why we are giving out or requesting PC games on Steam....in a Xbox sub, when you could just request the Xbox PC store versions

So for some short tldr context:

He's been playing for a while but mainly pvp and no bosses. And I'm rather completely new to it in general.

Our goal is to do all the bosses on all the maps (the free maps that is

What we are looking for:

PVE (not pvp)

We want boosted stuff, like tame speed, harvesting, and breeding/mating/maturing. (But we don't want this stuff crazy boosted. Like insta tame, or one pick of a push and ya got 7k berries🤣, if that makes sense)

So basically boosted but not busted.

And preferably a cluster, so we can transfer dinos to the next maps as we move along. So someone that has most if not all the maps on their servers

I also saw members who just kinda comment and post here and there....but don't do anything wrong...and are nice people. who also could no longer participate.

I screenshoted some of your messages. And took them and my thoughts to the admins and the other mods.

And I can happily, say, we will (if not already) be lowering the karma count requirement from 250 to 100

I know for some of y'all, that might still not be low enough, but you have to understand we go any lower and it can't do its job to keep scammers and spammers and bad eggs out as well

The admin, very shortly, most likely by end of night or early morning.

Will be implementing a karma system, to prevent some spam, and people who just come in and request and dip.

The min karma required to post (and I'm assuming comment) will be 250 Karma.

We all discussed it...and tried to keep in mind, that people like myself or are active on Reddit, but don't care for or about karma might not have a high amount....or maybe again like myself, maybe ya just have some hot takes in communities you take part in leading to ya having some low karma.

But we also are aware we needed to implement something, to lower some of the bad eggs and spammers

Please, PLEASE do not post your phone numbers, emails, socials, credit card or payment infos, addresses etc....

with Xbox gifting....the most someone should need, in order to gift you. Is to add you to their friends list via your GT (gamer tag)

And if for whatever reason someone wants to gift you a gift card code...if possible request they just give you the code via messages

And if worst comes to worse, and someone tries to gift you a card via email...use a burner email and keep it only in the dms. To be safe

Been seeing a lot of the whole "dead sub" and "is this sub dead" posts Where people post and comment, complaining about how it's only filled with people making requests or "spamming"

Y'all realize, this is a community funded sub? Meaning if 50% of the participants, just request stuff and don't gift anyone. And 40% of the participants just sit around waiting to snag up codes and don't actually post or comment unless it's to be rude to someone. That means only a measly 10% is actually helping others and or hosting give aways

And that measly 10% doesn't ALWAYS have a code to hand out let alone the exact game a person is looking for.

Which will mean, a lot of posts you will see, are going to be requests...and tbh I don't understand the complaints of people making requests, in a sub dedicated to people asking for games to get help, when they can't afford it for whatever reason...

Like I get it, its also supposed to be a place where people host giveaways, or want to help...but again, that's up to the COMMUNITY of the sub, to actually partake in that side of the sub...

(LASTLY, maybe consider people just don't want to interact with ignorant people. I see so many of you, with your heads shoved firmly up your own rectums....spouting out hypocrisy and judgement. This sub is basically inactive...got a couple people that post...but get next to no responses for help. Which is kinda bad when the sub is meant for people to find help....and trade loot

THERE IS NOTHING TO PROTEST, the WHOLE EFFIN REASON WE ARE IN THIS BOAT is because across All forms of media and entertainment (books/tv/movies/games/music), data and studies and COMMON EFFIN SENSE shows people prefer to and/or out of pure convenience, use DIGITAL MEDIA over physical. wether it's renting or buying (on apps like Google play or apple tv) or streaming/subscription services (via spotify/Netflix/YT/gamepass and PS Plus).

First off, Sony did not kill physical games (yet)

They said start of 2028, that's like a year and a half away (that's a year and a half where this can be reversed, changed, altered, and even if not, is not now).

So let's stop the false click bait claims of "Sony kills physical media, then has outage".....these are two separate and far apart events, one of which hasn't ACTUALLY happened yet.

SECONDLY

if you had a PHYSICAL disc to any online game (Seige, cod, fort, etc) you would STILL not be able to play...due to the psn outage, as it can't connect to you the online network servers of psn.

IN TERMS OF OFFLINE GAMES, physical or digital, even when there's an outage, so long as the account that owns the game, is the one trying to play the game, and as long as said account that owns the game has the console being played on as the "home console" (which it should assuming it's yours) you get to still play your DIGITAL and PHYSICAL games offline while psn or your wifi down..

the ONLY 2 WAYS your NOT able to play your games on your account when no wifi or PSN down...is if the console your playing on is not set as the HOME consoles. (Meaning your game sharing elsewhere)

Or

If the game your trying to play requires a connection...to WiFi and PSN to play...which even a physical disc won't change that

And mind you Xbox does this same thing
