I have bruxism and I've been using a standard mouthguard (the one that goes over all the bottom teeth) for years and still have daily headaches. II've been looking at other types of splint that will prevent the grinding rather than just protecting the teeth.

I'm wary of NIT splints as I already have two broken incisors from grinding. It seemed a bad idea to concentrate all the force on those. I liked the look of B splints, which didn't seem to concentrate the force so narrowly.

So I went to a dentist specialising in bruxism and said I was interested in a B splint, but I see he has put an SCI on my treatment plan. These seem to be the new versions of NIT splints and put all the force on the incisors? The dentist did note I have attrition on all incisors.

I can only access free papers and I am really struggling to find any that look at SCIs and their efficacy. I'd really appreciate any information about how good the evidence base is, and if they'll be safe for my incisors.

Question was "how many episodes of Friends are there?" Whoever was closest would win the tiebreak and therefore the prize.

All I needed to do was remember there are 10 seasons and around 24 episodes in each = 240. The actual answer, as I googled afterwards, is 236.

Instead my brain went on a ridiculous path of remembering the episode where Phoebe gives birth was the 100th, and that was around season 3 (it's not, it was season 5) and came up with 315.

Infuriated WITH MYSELF which is the worst kind.
