Genuine Law Blog Sites
TLDR: Are there websites, blogs, or online communities that provide honest thoughts/commentary on my specific legal community?
Recently I was listening to the founder of Above the Law, David Lat, on the founding of the website and its predecessor Underneath Their Robes. By his telling, Lat was motivated to create these sites to fill the niche for candid, irreverent perspectives on the inner workings of the Federal Judiciary. I appreciate what Above the Law has become, shedding light on taboo topics like salary and promotions, but it has moved away from the niche of providing the niche insight into a particular legal role.
Is there any website like David Lat's old website? I recently moved to a new city and smaller legal market, and now I feel like I am behind on the reputations and history behind various attorneys and firms.
