Has anyone actually done that, the old slip of a $20 and get upgraded at no cost?

Hello everyone. I’m looking for some advice and input from other single dads on how you are surviving financially with your kids after a divorce.

My ex left me three years ago for another man, completely swapping one life for another overnight. We have two daughters who were just 2 and 3 at the time. Back then, she was in a massive rush to get the divorce papers finalized. We did a cordial, office-table process with no lawyers. As part of our deal, we agreed she would pay off a marital loan we had taken out in lieu of child support.

Well, she hasn't touched that loan in two years. For personal reasons, I didn’t pursue standard child support at the time. But now, things are getting dire. I’m sinking into credit card debt just trying to cover basic survival for the kids.

She is a Nurse Practitioner(when we met she was just a clinic nurse. For her NP I helped put her through school) who owns two clinics. Yet, she claims she isn't making any money and is somehow on Medicaid. In reality, she brings in about two-thirds of our combined historical income when we were together. She married the guy she left me for two years ago. Recently, she stopped sending me money electronically for the girls' insurance, having her new husband handle the electronic transfers instead. I strongly feel she is manipulating the system. Meanwhile, they drive a used Range Rover and a used Ford Lightning, and they travel for "conferences" or vacations a few out of the country every month or two.

Whenever I bring up honoring our original loan agreement, she goes to "Fine, let's look at my actual income and you'll end up owing me support." I’ve done my research, and I know a judge would look at her imputed earning capacity, not the "broke" reality she claims on paper. An NP that owns to clinics does pretty well where I am located.

Also they should look at how they are funneling this money to be able to live their lifestyle, what her clinic brings in, she just recently started accepting medical insurance as payment. Plus they do "charity" events on the side where she claims they don't take any money from but I don't buy it.

Because I can't afford a steep lawyer retainer, I am trying to get help through my local Child Support Division office. I’m hoping they can enforce our original order, get back-support for the unpaid loan, and audit her financials to see how a "broke" business owner lives such a lavish lifestyle.

Suffice it to say this has taken a great strain on my mental health and has been wearing me down over the last 3 years. I've fallen into a depression and have lost joy and peace in a lot of things in my life. Some days are OK, some are not. I have no interest in dating still as it takes a lot of time and money, and to be honest I just don't have it in me to bring someone new into my life right now. I tried talking to therapist for a while but I can't afford it any more. Every day it just seems something else, someone else, is trying to take more money out of my pocket.

This story is more complex and lengthy but drama aside, how are you guys actually making ends meet and surviving as a single parent in this economy? Thanks for your time.

This might be dumb but is there anything left after beating the boss? I still have one more gold and clay or whatever piece to collect. Other than that is it over lol?

So I got notified that this latest bill is 3 times the normal amount which I feel is an error. My landlord said he called the HOA and they said the meter seemed to have been read correctly and they are not able to do a live check which I find odd.

This is definitely an error, I've been here 3 years and I've never had the bill this high. Nothing has changed in my typical usage this past month. Any tips? I've checked for leaks in the toilets, running toilets, under the sinks, etc. Everything seems to be up to par. This seems suspicious to me.

Hello! Trying to get an idea of which way to go. Did anyone have better luck booking an all inclusive resort in Cancun with a TA vs Expedia or like a Cheap Caribbean for instance?

I've been shopping and so far Expedia seems to be most bang for the buck for Gold Members. TIA!

Hello. I'm trying to look for a 5 night stay in Sept for myself and gf in the Cancun Rivera Maya area or Play del Carmen, Playa Mujeres. Shooting to be under $300 a night. I've stayed at the Riu Palace Pacifico in Puerto Vallarta and we liked the Riu hotels. I researched Riu Las Americas and Kukulcan and the latter seems to be more our style. More new, stylish. I saw folks suggest Altier, Xcaret, Moche but some of these are out of our range. Pardisus La Perla, Live Aqua and Valentin look to be more in our range, how do these fare?

We're not looking for a mega party scene non stop, but would like that option if we chose it for a particular time. Also not looking for a remote location that looks dated or secluded from shops, bars, etc. Riu property was nice but seeking anything that's this caliber or higher that won't break the bank, perhaps better food, drinks, experiences. Also suggestions on best sites to book? So far Expedia seems to be leading over Cheap Caribbean for these packages. I would greatly appreciate it.

About a week ago when I click on comments for posts, it doesn't show any comments just a blank page. I've gone to posts with 1 comment, 100+ comments, doesn't matter. I've cleared the cache, data, force stopped. I've signed out, back in. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program. Nothing. What's most frustrating is that Instagram support is non-existent. I have submitted reports by shaking my phone and it doesn't matter. There is virtually no human support for this. Anyone else run into this before?
