I've been trying to get into the trades but had no luck.Ive applied to the electrician, lineman,carpenters, plumbers,sprinklers, sheetmatal roofing, laborers iron workers you name it.ive passed alot of the aptitude test and had interviews but always been rejected.Ive heard that no one wants to work anymore and they can't find new apprentices yet I can't find one local to accept me.what gives?

Got fired on my first day painting.Guy wanted me to prep to touch up some siding on a old chimney.He wanted me to paint new caulking on the edges some 16 ft 2 x 4 and alot of touch ups on old paint peeling.I was working on a steep roof and of a 20 ft extension ladder.He said it should take me 3 minutes to paint and prep everything.

I was looking at the estwing 12 inch and the dewalt or milwaukee with the dimpler. Is the dimpler useful or just a gimmick.

I have a job on Monday as a helper for a drywall crew.What do I need and do you have any tips or anything that can help me.
