Rapco Panzer Gray is a pretty good stand in for “Colt Gray”.
Each pic was in different light. But, the effect was all the same. Only drawback is it has a slight sheen to it.

Todays f’ery. Painting this tube in Rapco RAL 7021 to see if it can be a stand in for a Colt’ish gray.
Did a quick chemical strip. Then two medium coats so far. This is my first time using Rapco. When it goes on it looks very orange peel’ish. But, levels out perfectly as it dries. Looking good so far.
