Hi, guys. I got placed on a closer shift for the first in my entire BPO career and was wondering - are you really required required to finish all queues beyond end of shift? Syempre, with the exceptions of the calls that came in minutes before but beyond that, required ba talaga siya?
I had a call and finished 8:14AM (EOS 8:00AM) and restarted laptop as we’re told to do tapos cinall out ako ng isang TL na mag-log back in to finish all calls in queue kaso sabi ko I already restarted. She told me, next time raw, magpaalam muna bago mag-out especially kapag may calls pa in queue. Obligation ko ba talaga ‘yun? Parang konti lang kaming closer and sa team namin, dalawa lang kami, halos lagi pa absent ‘yung isa kaya feeling ko tuloy sa’kin binabagsak lahat?
Thank you sa lahat ng makakapagbigay ng advice (I guess?), feeling ko kasi ang unfair since wala naman sa contract ko ‘yung ganun?

Hindi lang ako makalipat dahil accessible ang apartment ko sa lahat ng pinupuntahan ko pero tama ba ‘to na nagtaas sila agad bago ako sendan ng computation ng electric bill?
EDIT: Lol, maybe I’m too stupid for not asking questions. They just corrected me na 17php/KWH and I asked why I haven’t been informed about this… but isn’t it the landlord’s responsibility to inform a tenant for any changes made too?

Gusto ko sana intindihin dahil baka papasok since pauwi lang naman ako pero hindi naman ata justifiable na manakit ng ibang tao at mawalan ng konsiderasyon sa kapwa para lang makasakay.

I thanked him and offered to pay since it was 100% my fault pero he insisted and told me na it’s okay and to just enjoy my coffee. His kindness made my day, so kudos to you!

(I wasn’t able to get their name because I was too ashamed of what happened, dami kasi nakakita and it’s my first time having that kind of accident in public.)
