Where do you exercise?

I live in a cramped apartment, where I cant perform exercises properly, so I just faded into not exercising at all. So if there is someone in a similar situation, where do you exercise? I dont have a garden, so I could exercise in the forest nearby my house, but not sure if I can travel with mace and exercise in public without being totally ashamed.

Vpisovaní do knížek z knihovny

Bigger free onboard backpack

Hey, so I know that the meassurments of free onboard backpack are 40x30x20 cm, mine is smaller in every meassurment but the lenght (54x21x16 cm) co it is smaller by volume, since I have it full, I can squeeze it into the wanted meassurments. Now do you have experinece with this? Will they always use the metal meassuring box, or will they just give me a fine when I have a bigger backpack? Thank you very much for your answers.

Make your own leather sheats

Hey, so I just wanted to share my leather sheats that I finished today, cause I'm quite proud of them (while knowing that they are far from perfect). Also tell those eho have been thinking about making it, that you can reach quite good results with minimal equipment and cost. I used leather (with blemishes so it was cheaper), needels and thread that i had at home, cheap awl, holepunching pliers and leather rivets and studs that i bought from local haberdashery. It was really fun and I enjoyed it greatly. Also if you have any tips for me to get better or spotted a mistake, I would greatly appreciate any notes.

Winter backpack in summer

Hey so I am following up on my recent post about buying a sleeping back winter vs. threeseason, where you recommended to me that I should buy threeseason an for winter use just add more clothes. Im a warm sleeper, the threeseason backpack is comfort at -2 Celsius. How much can i buff that up with wool longjohnes, thick woolen jumper and woolen trousers? The biggest winter I expect is -15 at top.

Gear after episode

Hey, somwehere it was spoiled to me that after episode 2 you loose all the clothing. My question is do you loose it because you play as astrid? Then if not do you loose only clothing or also all the stuff? Because I have materials for clafting wolf pelt coat etc. and if the only thing you loose is clothing, i would save it for later. Please try to be as spoiler free as possible when answrring. Thank you very much.

Westerns to watch with my GF

Hey, so I love westerns, i grew up on sauerkraut westerns (Winnetou) and came back to them now, when Im in my twenties. I like classics with John Wayne (The Searchers, True Grit, Rio Bravo, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, Stagecoach...), Jeremiah Johnson is one of my favourites, the spaghetti westerns are not my favourite but I like them, altough I think Unforgiven with Clint Eastwood is the best I've seen yet, Little Big Man is also close. The Revenant I liked but prefered the book. And others that I cant name by heart. Now my girlfriend is not a big movie fan and westerns especially, but she wants me to show her and watch with me the movies I like. So which of the mentioned should I choose to not bore her to death or to not discourage her from watching anything else with me? I realize the list is short, so feel free to add your favourite that might be right for the job. Thank you very much for your help!

I want only one sharpening stone

Hello, I usually take my knifes to the sharpener, but recently started thinking about buying my own wetstone and sharpening my own knife. Now I understand that it would be best to get more stones that would differ in grit, but is there like a one versatile stone type that wont cost me a fortune and still do like 80% job that owning more would do? I also have a leather strop from the times I used to shave with straight razor, so I can use that to top it off, but I understand that I have to use it with paste, so could you recommend me one type as well? Thank you very much for your help and for tolerating my ignorance.

Winter sleeping bag or 3 season with extra clothes

Hey, so I live in czechia and want to start hiking in winter in mountains here (cca 1500 m and less), where temperatures are dropping not lower then -15 °C. I have experience with winter hiking, but never slept outside during winter. I have all the basic gear needed except sleeping pad and sleeping bag. I understand that winter sleeping pad is obligatory, however I have been considering and option to buy a 3 season sleeping bag and in winter just put on long johns and woolen jumper. I consider this because my idea is that i will be able to sleep in 3 season bag even during summer and I will be able to replace my synthetics summer bag with it. Also its cheaper. So my question is, do you have experience with sleeping in 3 season sleeping bag in winter, can I use it as all year round with additional clothes and winter sleeping pad?

Abisko National Park

Hey, Im planning to visit Abisko National Park at the end of this month, as this is the closets subreddit, that I was able to find, please, bear with me (if you know better fitting subreddit, please tell me). Aproximately how many people will be there, Im planning to go the red trail and then go to the west, to the mountain along the lake (meaning will I meet someone every few meters, or nobody during the whole three days). Is the trail marked well? And perhaps the most important, what is the phone signal and internet signal coverage? I will appreciate any more tips from you, or even general tips for hiking that are specific for sweeden.
