A Tribute to Hephaestus — inspired by Greek pottery
Inspired by the style of ancient Greek pottery, which I truly like, I aimed for a faux terracotta look by combining hand-carved detail lines with painted surfaces. Hope you enjoy!

And here is my Lego Version of Minsc and Boo, a non negotiable party member of any of my playthroughs!
It took me several hours, but I finally finished this artistic tribute to Hephaestus. I was inspired by the style of ancient Greek pottery, which I truly love, and aimed for a faux terracotta look by combining hand-carved detail lines with painted surfaces. Hope you enjoy!
Here is a House Targaryen Banner that I carved in wood and painted. It was a very fun project to make. Hope you enjoy!

And here a small tribute to Ares that I carved this week. Hope you enjoy!
Here is a Lego Mini of Imoen that I made. BTW in BG2 the bolt spells made more self-damage to my party than to the enemies :)
And here my take on Jan Jansen, one of my favorite characters of BG2 and companion in any of my playthroughs. Hope you like my Lego version of him! It was quite challenging to find all the pieces but I am happy how it turned out. A pity I didnt find any lego turnips though :D
And here is my take on Mazzy as a Lego miniature. I am completing my old BG2 party with lego parts and she had to be in my collection.
One of my favorite characters of Baldurs Gate coudn't miss in my collection.
I really hope I can make my old party again if I find the right parts!
And here is a tribute to Demeter. The sunny days inspired me to finally create one for her. I mixed comic and archaic styles here as well. Hope you enjoy it!
Here is a small project of mine. It’s a mix of DnD and fantasy miniatures from past collections.
A couple were made ad hoc (the thief, shieldmaiden, and lizardfolk), while the Beholder and Mimic were assembled from assorted LEGO parts.
It took me 10 hours, but I am happy to add Poseidon to my reliefs collection.
It was a nice and fun project and hope you enjoy ^^
I carved this Aphrodite relief in basswood and created a bronze-like version in Jesmonite. For the design I was inspired by comics and partly to modern symbolism.
Hi everyone,
I’m a hobby relief artist deeply passionate about the Greek pantheon. I carve wooden reliefs of the Gods mainly for my own altar and devotional practice.
Not everyone has the space, privacy, or resources for a physical altar, so I tried to create an alternative.
Recently I started turning some of these into Digital Altars on Pinterest: free boards that people can use for inspiration, print elements from, or keep as a digital altar space if a physical one isn’t possible.
Here’s the Hellenic-themed board:

If there’s a deity, aesthetic, or type of altar you’d like to see added, I’d genuinely love suggestions! If even one of these ends up being meaningful in someone’s practice, I’d be really glad!
I carved this Aphrodite relief and made a bronze-style version for my altar. Can this count as a devotional offering? What’s your experience?
Updated my mythological wall since my last post a few weeks ago — added Apollo, Artemis, Dionysus, Hekate and remade Aphrodite with a softer look.
Top left to bottom right: Artemis, Dionysus, Hekate, Athena, Zeus, Aphrodite, Medusa and Theseus vs the Minotaur.
First image is a collage (Reddit cropping…), second is the actual wall. Still growing the wall… curious who you’d add next!
From the previous Aphrodite relief I carved in basswood, I created a bronze-like version for my altar. For the design I was inspired by comics and partly to modern symbolism.
It was a very fun project to make and I hope to gain her favour with this devotional act.
Here’s a relief I carved for my Aphrodite altar. I carved the original in basswood, then made a mold and cast a bronze Jesmonite copy because I really like that ancient look and wanted to keep both versions. I went with a comic-style low relief, blending classical and modern symbolism.
It was a very fun project to make!
I made this Hekate relief and set it up as altar with some candles, herbs, and a soft vintage ritual atmosphere.
My process starts with sketching the design onto wood, then carving the relief entirely by hand. Once finished, I make a silicone mold and cast it in jesmonite. After curing, I apply pigments and finishes to create a bronze-like look while preserving all the original carved details.
Carving is my biggest passion, and this was a very fun project to make. I also made a few other Gods from the greek Pantheon and planning to make at least all the 12 olympians and a few others.
