Sunohara-sou no Kanrinin-san

Sunohara-sou no Kanrinin-san.

Goodbye, Boku No Kokoro.

This incredible story has finally come to an end...

And now that it’s over, I’ve realized that it wasn’t just an anime that ended. While I was watching Boku no Kokoro, I was changing too.

I feel like a new version of myself was slowly being created. Someone who, even though I still struggle sometimes, learned how to talk and interact with people a little better. Someone who managed to get closer to someone and even fell in love with a girl at school.

Someone who discovered how much he loves romance anime and manga, who started getting genuinely attached to stories and characters, and who began to understand his own feelings a little more.

But I think the biggest thing this story taught me was how to love.

To love someone, to have feelings for someone, to care about people and characters... and, most importantly, to slowly learn how to accept and love myself.

That’s why it feels so strange knowing that it’s over. I’m happy for everything this story gave me, but at the same time, there’s this empty feeling inside me. It feels like a part of my routine has suddenly come to an end.

Maybe I’ll never get to experience Boku no Kokoro for the first time again. I’ll never feel exactly the same way I did while watching it for the first time.

And I think that’s okay.

Because this story is already a part of me.

The story may have ended, but the person I became while watching it is still here.

Thank you, Boku no Kokoro. ❤️
