New monitor recommendations??

I was wondering if there were any recommendations that were better than the ASUS VG249. For reference, I play simpler games like Roblox, Fortnite, skate., and skate 3. I’m not very educated on monitors but i’m looking for one of similar price, or under 200 and one that is better than the VG249, or atleast won’t fail within 2 years of regular use.

Asus Monitor won’t connect to PC

My Asus monitor refuses to connect to my PC. I have tried to connect a PS5 to it and see if the PC was the problem, but the PS5 doesn’t connect either. A reason for that could be that my PS5’s HDMI port is loose and only works in a certain position, but when it does output a signal, my monitor screen is black instead of the blue that indicates no signal. I’ve been using DisplayPort for 2 years, but it doesn’t work now. After I had tried an HDMI port on my PC, which also didn’t work.

The reason my monitor was unplugged from my PC in the first place was that I was checking the back of my PC. I have changed the power plug to the monitor because initially I had thought it was because it’s loose. I've had both my PC and monitor since 2024. I've only experienced this lag when I accidentally downloaded bloatware(deleted).

My PC is a prebuilt iBuyPower(ntm on me) and the Asus LCD monitor is Model VG249, Version VG249Q1A.
