Ham, cooler, 10 hours??
Hi all, I am curious about this. I had ham (already opened deli ham) in a cooler with some ice packs, other fridge items and some frozen veggies in a cooler for about 10 hours on a roadtrip. On one hand, it's a really long time and I didn't know (until now) that I could/should validate temps. On the other hand, the gel-ice packs were not fully melted when I unpacked the cooler. What's the opinion or if you have any similar experiences? I ate some and then realized oh maybe I shouldn't have. I'm so tired and don't want to be up worrying :/
