As a gay ass bummy loser, I am getting real tired of seeing shippers of this pairing constantly make the argument that anyone who sees the very obvious and alarming issues with this relationship is homophobic or misogynistic.

Chloe alone is probably the second-worst fucking character in the god damned game, right below the serial killer photo teacher. She is manipulative, a liar, and just a genuine piece of shit the game tried really hard to make you feel bad for with that whole "euthanize" path. I really want to focus on how ain't shit she is with.

So, the first issue is Chloe's constant use of weaponized abandonment (emotional manipulation/guilt tripping basically). Because Max did the god awful sin of "being a child with no way to change things" and had to move away for 5 years, Chloe will unironically bring it up in arguments as a weapon to win or to make poor Max feel like she owes this vile bitch.. Max basically has to walk eggshells around a bitch who refuses to accept fault in things.

Then, because the game tries so hard to instill a rebellious side of her, she is constantly pushing Max to do stupid/dangerous shit. Main instances of that being stealing a handicapped fund and forcing max to use her powers till she nosebleeds and passes out.

Then some more moments to make this even harder.

-Kate Marsh, a heavily suicidal character/friend to Max, will call Max. If Max DARES to answer the phone for this suffering, far better written, character.. Chloe will get genuinely and VISIBLY ANGRY all because you aren't giving her sociopathic ass any attention.

-Chloe has a moment where she speaks about how men are dangerous with guns.. To which ofc, she proceeds to shoot herself, a man, and his dog. Oh-ho, and speaking of that MAN

-The man she shoots is Frank Bowers, her drug dealer. The reason that man and his innocent dog end up shot is that Chloe was too stupid, unreliable, and irresponsible to pay off a debt she owed him.

Oh my oh my oh my my my. I FINALLY get to talk about these disgusting fucking creatures. Persona fans LOVE to ignore how almost every adult female in this game is so vile and disgusting toward minors.

This is why characters like AnisSA get so much fucking praise bc people refuse to condemn them correctly. It is truly insane to me how people will, rightfully, shit on Kamoshida for being a GROSS PEDOPHILE WITH INAPPROPRIATE RELATIONS WITH MINORS

Mentioning DBZ/S isn't allowed, even on tiktok I feel like people will sometimes just name off popular characters for ragebait. So, literally ANY anime is allowed, just not DBZ.

Same with the fans, this anime is probably the lamest shit ever. It's like that one guy who uses big words to sound really smart 24/7, which is such a funny ass comparison given the anime does that.

Then the MC is probably the lamest "manipulator" and "Genius" ever.. Dude does the most unnecessary shit (like that one girl who's bullies he called on her, despite NEEDING her), and gets glazed like he's Aizen, revealing he basically planned out Ichigo's life.

Man does the most basic form of "manipulation" (And I say that, SIMPLY, because I cannot find a lesser word.) on a moron or someone who's mentally ill and now he's top 10 anime manipulators. Then the entire show just has this huge "tell don't show" issue, where character A, B, and C will go on and on about how smart he is, yet rarely show us.. They make everyone drop a could IQ points just to make his next set of actions look cool.

This piece of utter dogshit that somehow gets worse and worse no matter the medium you read it through.

Now, Mushoku Tensei is story about how a pedophilic cheater and his, somehow, even worse friends go from sad pedophiles and incestual weirdos, to happy pedophiles and incestual weirdos.

Now, there are.. countless issues but given I cannot mention real people, my personal feelings on the author and fans of this dogshit, shall be kept to myself but hopefully made apparent by what I said.

The World: Contrary to what people who defend it say, it really isn't all that. The verse is unimpressive, the species are pretty bland, with maybe 1% of it being unique, the world is as poorly made and bland as its characters. The world allows for slavery and the main response (that has no proof to it whatsoever) is that "I-IT'S BASED ON MEDIEVAL EUROPE!!111!!" Which is bullshit.. Because Medival Europe killed people like rudeus.

The characters: I am about to list off everything our "heroes" (again, people we are supposed to ROOT FOR) do, with the medium it has been found it beside it.

Rudeus Greyrat:

• The Panties shit (All Versions): Theft and literal worship of Roxy’s underwear.
• The Zenith/Lilia Scheme (WN/LN): As a toddler, he manipulated his parents' emotions to ensure Lilia (and his future sister) stayed in the house, not out of kindness, but to ensure his own comfort and "harem" potential.
• Niece (LN, iirc): He got off to content of his showering Niece
• The Beast Girl Kidnapping (Anime/LN): His internal monologue about "experimenting" on the captured beast girls is toned down, but in the LN/WN, his thoughts are significantly more predatory. Not to mention that while they were locked in a cage, his internal monologue compared them to "livestock" and he considered "breeding" them to see what the offspring would look like.
• Slavery Endorsement (All): He doesn't just buy a slave; he explicitly argues that slavery is a "necessary evil" or "cultural difference," making no effort to change the system. Mind you, AGAIN, HE IS SUPPOSED TO BE A HERO
• Sleeping Eris (LN/Anime): After the mana calamity, while they are traveling, Rudeus attempts to undress (?) Eris while she is sleeping. He frequently justifies his predatory behavior by telling himself, "she'll eventually want it anyway" because of their "fate."

Paul Greyrat:

• The Lilia Incident (All): Coerced/seduced a subordinate (Lilia) while his wife was pregnant.
• Child Abuse (All): Brutally kicked and beat Rudeus in the Millis Continent. The anime visually emphasizes the physical trauma, making Paul look significantly more unhinged than the WN text.

Roxy Migurdia:

• Unprofessionalism (LN/WN): While teaching Rudeus, she frequently "pleasured herself" while thinking about his parents in the next room, something the Anime kept.. for some fucking reason
• Homewrecking (LN/WN): In the later volumes, she enters a relationship with Rudeus while he is already married to Sylphie. While Sylphie accepts it, it is still fucking gross
