ISO friends?
Hi, this feels a little bit pathetic but I’m gonna try anyways!! I’m 27F and moved to Greenpoint last September, though I’ve lived in NYC for five years. A vast majority of my friends have moved out of the city, and I’ve realized that it’s rare for me to ever go out and spend time with people now— most of the people I talk to regularly live in far away places. I see people around my age often frequenting local spots (like the palace, coffee shops, mcgolrick park) and they look like they’re having a blast. I am not really a drinker or a smoker, but am always down to tag along and would just love to make some local friends around my age and do anything together!
A bit about me: I’m a full time PhD student and researcher. I’m unmarried with no kids. I teach and do pottery and will be running some pottery workshops over the summer (come come!! I’ll post about them here!!) I love to hike (frequently take trips upstate to go hiking), trying to get out biking more, and while I’m somewhat introverted, I do love my people deeply! Not sure if anyone is looking for friends (or willing to adopt a new one into their respective circles) but I thought I’d give it a shot!
