I was playing this game fine earlier but I just tried to open the game and continue from my latest save and it's stuck like this.
I can hear the game playing in my headphones and the sounds of my alters finishing work, modules malfunctioning etc but no visual at all.
How do I fix this? I swear I didn't do anything since playing earlier today.
I've seen mixed opinions on the pipelines in the DLC especially for megafluid but I really enjoyed puzzling out how to connect everything up. It took a while and I probably did it a very inefficient way but I'm actually kinda proud of myself for finishing my mess of pipes and have all substances being produced at the same time.
I did play on the easiest difficulty and I spent a couple of cycles just trying to figure out how to make megafluid through trial and error, but I got there eventually.
I now have enough qubit slots to have all alters in the DLC, I already have the Physicist and decided to make another Physicist with my last slot but when I went to the Womb the Chemist was there.
Is there some rule that you can't have multiple of the same alter in the base at the same time?
Btw I'm more curious about this than anything, I have a Physicist either way and I don't mind the Chemist.
Nothing in the game is saying what they are or how to get them, a lot of the map is blocked off as well and I'm not sure what I need to break the rock.
I've searched around the oasis and I can't find any more samples
It's my first playthrough and I am in act 2 and I've just got a task to research and build a radiation repulsor but there is no option to research it in the research lab, I tried to look up how to do it and I'm very confused cos there is no option for it. The task just says to research it first but how do I do that?
I got this game yesterday and I've been able to make 3 alters now I'm in act 1.
Obviously the game made me have the technician first but it let me choose whichever others I wanted so I got the miner and refiner because they seemed really useful for collecting resources.
I just got to the part where we need to find a way across the lava and they're saying I need a scientist but when I go to the computer for another alter it says 3 is the maximum.
Is there any way for me to get the scientist or do I have to start over?
I really don't want to have to abandon my first playthrough.
tldr: Can't get scientist, am I screwed?
I need help, how do I actually play this game?
I'm not familiar with AD&D rules but I've played 5e for a couple years now and BG3 for about 1 year.
I thought I'd give BG2 a go but can't figure out how to actually play it in particular the combat.
No pop ups or instructions of how things work, I'm completely lost.
Is there a turn based mode I can activate somewhere?
Cos I got into some combat and just got swarmed, I figured out how to pause the game but it didn't seem to help.
If someone can tell me if there's a way to activate a tutorial that would be great, if not how do I actually play this?
I got called for Jury service and basically get nowt cos I work odd days, even those with a full time job can only claim up to a certain amount for loss of earnings which is usually less than what they would make from working.
So why not just pay everyone for being there?
I have been gradually collecting dice for a few years now and like to bring all my dice to D&D sessions but my dice bag will only fit 7 sets of dice and I'd like to buy a new bag to keep most of my dice in at once (I have about 12 sets now I think)

I've looked for larger dice bags with compartments or sections and they all seem to have no more than 7, I think the idea is you split up your sets into each type of dice but I want to keep my sets together.

Are there any dice bags with more than 7 sections? Or does anyone know a way to add more sections to the dice bag I already have?
I play D&D and love Bards, I've been playing this game for about 5 hours and when I spoke to a bard he said I can join the bard college in solitude - so that's what I did and I treked over there on a horse I stole.
A few NPCs have been talking about an execution, I looked it up and apparently when I first went to solitude there was supposed to be an execution but I didn't see it.
Have I messed stuff up by not doing things in the right order?
Hello, I've been modding my game and I think mantis blades look really cool so I got a mod (the only one I can find) to have mantis blades out in photomode.
It's installed and all the required mods it lists on nexus but I see no mantisblades in photomode still :(
Anyone else used this mod and got it working?
Hello, I have been trying to install the virtual atelier mod to buy modded clothes on V's computer but nothing is showing in the game.
I have installed Vireual Atelier, Browser extention and I checked all the other required mods and they're installed, I have also installed some clothing mods for it too.
The virtual atelier settings come up in my mods menu so it's definatley installed and is running but I'm not sure why it's not coming up on V's computer, what am I doing wrong?
IDK what the identify yourself thing means, I've tried clicking ok multiple times but it's done nothing. I tried googling what to do but I couldn't find anything.
