Pretty good listen, as always. Each episode, we feature one guest as they discuss the four records that helped shape them at four different times in their life. This week, Forrest speaks with Martin Wong. Martin was one of the founders and editors of Giant Robot Magazine, which ran from 1994 to 2011. Since 2019, he has been a contributor to Razorcake magazine, providing interviews and reviews. From 2013 to 2022, he raised money to help save music programs in Los Angeles schools with a series of afternoon matinees called Save Music in Chinatown.

Martin Wong’s Four Records:

0-10: Cheap Trick – Live At Budokan

Teenage: The Clash – London Calling

Twenties: J Church – Camels, Spilled Coronas, and The Sound of Mariachi Bands

Recent Record: Channel 3 – 40
