What do you look for in a good study area?

Hi all - I’m in a position to open a study/community space on Cornmarket Street.

What do you look for in a study space, or what would you want?

Tables and chairs are a given… but anything else specific that would make you want to go there?

Do you go retail shopping in Oxford?

What makes you decide to go out rather than shop online? What is it about a certain shop that makes you enjoy going there?

Also for example, what makes you choose one book shop over another when they sell the same things? Or toys, stationery, clothing… etc

Is there anything that would make you more likely to go the centre rather than online?

Do you decide between chain vs independent?

Is there anything or anywhere you AVOID and why?

Curious to hear other people’s thoughts!

How to fix outside ledge?

Hi :) This is a 4” high ledge outside my workplace and I’ve noticed it’s falling off now - I have white paint but I think this needs more than that to look good. I think it’s concrete underneath… what can I do?

What is this and what do I put in it?

I bought it because it’s cute but now it’s home, I’m not actually sure what it’s for… Surely it’s for nuts or something that are bigger than the holes so they don’t fall out, but then how does a creature get it out?

I’ve done my first bit of gardening (flowerpots) and there’s mushrooms?

What’s all that about?

At home lash extensions for beginners?

Hi hi :)

I want to try this but am apprehensive about going to someone to get it done… what’s the best at home set you’ve tried that lasts and is easy? Bonus points if it’s comfortable to wear ❤️

I’m often too sleepy in the mornings to be comfortable with mascara but I love the look of extensions on others so wanna tryyy :)

I’m not in great contact with Mum and I have my first smear coming up… but I’ll be on my period during the appointment they gave me. I personally don’t mind, but is it a problem? Do I have to call to reschedule?
