The more feedback I get, the less I'm convinced that more features are the answer.
I started sharing my project publicly a few days ago because I wanted honest feedback. One thing surprised me.
Almost nobody asked for new features. Instead, people kept talking about friction.
- Too many steps. Too many notifications. Too much pressure. Too much complexity.
- Now I'm starting to think that building a better productivity app isn't about adding more.
- Maybe it's about removing more.
Has anyone else building software had a moment where user feedback completely changed the direction of your thinking?
