"[M]odern-day Missouri rabblerousers, guided by faith and the Constitution." Denny Hoskins has written an op-ed in the Post-Dispatch and it is ... something.
His appalling politics are on full display, calling a legal referendum "mob rule," asserting that the "Missouri Supreme Court’s ruling otherwise was a disappointing blow to representative democracy" and generally pretending like he didn't create this mess.
Politics aside, he writes like a panicked fifth-grader at 2 a.m.: "When I took office, I never could have imagined the unprecedented unfolding that lie ahead."

Trump says that he took a construction crew to the Twin Towers on 9/11 to help, and that he was carried out by big strong firefighters. Multiple news organizations have reported that they have found no corroborating evidence. Do you believe his claims?
Edit: Trump has been ambiguous on when these things happened. The key point is whether he brought hundreds of people to help and was carried out by firefighters, whatever the date.

What are your thought's about the traditional lifestyle and women involved in the workforce, politics, media, etc.?
(Up front, my understanding of the traditional lifestyle is that a woman's role is to maintain/manage/run the household/etc.. A man's role is provide financial/physical security/manual labor/etc. Let me know if I'm already off in my assessment.)
Something I have trouble wrapping my head around is watching videos, especially of conservative women, promoting a traditional lifestyle. Can you help me understand?
How would you define traditional life?
What would you consider hypocritical to that belief?
Is there anything outside of the traditional lifestyle that you believe only a woman could do?

This one makes me kinda bitter
Herewith a bottle of bitters developed by a guy named Gary Regan. The label reads Regans’ Orange Bitters.
Sigh.
Is vermouth amaro
Interesting discussion on r/cocktails. A redditor argues that vermouth is amaro because, well, you can read the reasoning. We couldn't come to an agreement. So I'll invoke the wisdom of the amaromancers in r/Amaro. Is vermouth amaro?
Negroni with amari
The Negroni was one of my first cocktail infatuations and I still hold it in high esteem. I make them now with amari, a different blend every time. That makes every Negroni simultaneously warmly familiar and an exciting adventure.

What are your thoughts about Reacher star Alan Ritchson's negative comments about Donald Trump, calling him "that bitch?"
He said on a podcast, referring to the Epstein files: “Don’t you want to see what’s in there so that we can hold people accountable?” Ritchson asked. “These fucking rapists. We’re just cool with it. That bitch has the keys to the nuclear codes. He’s like all up into 13-year-olds. Like dude, what? Go to jail.”

Apostrophegore -- fixed!
I saw this last month on a trip to Mount Rainier. My wife and I stopped at venerable restaurant named Charlie's Cafe on the way to the mountain. Charlie's serves an outstanding breakfast.
Check out the little vertical bars, one over each i and one between the t and the s in its. I don't know for sure, but I suspect that someone realized there was a stray apostrophe in "its" and removed it, leaving the little stub behind. This is how I want the world to work.
I forgot to take a picture; this is one I found on the web. If you're headed to Mt. Rainier, maybe you can snap a better one.

Teensy rock pierced my tire and tube
I was dodging walnuts on the Katy Trail near Rocheport. I’ve had bad experiences with them. I wasn’t expecting a sneak attack from a piece of gravel smaller than a pea.
It was a good ride anyway.
