Michael Jackson’s dancing was cringe, repetitive and unimpressive

This is coming from a big fan actually, I love his music. But my god his dancing was so overrated. Every routine is the same grab-the-crotch, spin, tiptoe, hee-hee, repeat. Moonwalk was cool, but that doesn’t add much. People treat him like a dance god, but remove the production value and it’s just a grown man aggressively touching himself while doing the same three moves on loop. I’m ready for the downvotes.

Also, because of intense dancing he often used backing tracks for vocals and didn’t actually sing on his shows, which is a bummer, cause his songwriting and singing was infinitely better than his crotch-thrusting (or whatever is that called).

One of the many reasons why I’m childfree - children violently abused me

Since I was a little kid a was heavily bullied. Children would beat me, spit on my clothes, hide my backpack for days, rob me of lunch money, call me names, lie about me to teachers, boys constantly would ridicule and humiliate me in front of girls.

No adult has ever did anything close to that to me. Pretty much all the suffering in my life comes from children. Pure and innocent my ass.

I'm 28 now and honestly living a very happy and fulfilling life. I'm a doctor in addiction psychiatry and the reason why I wanted to make this post is because recently I was semi-forced by the hospital to kinda go around some schools with brief profilactic lectures, you know, to teach kids how drugs are no-no.

And oh my god after not interacting with children for more than 10 years I was reminded why children are f***ing horrible. They made fun of my appearance, the way I talk, constantly clowning, asking dumbest questions imaginable, JFC.

I'm not ever having children because why would I want to spend time with these... monsters.
Sorry but I have to take this somewhere, hopefully I'm not breaking any rules.

Are Hotone expression pedals compatible with HX Stomp?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I’m new to exp pedals and don’t know the intricacies of it all.

I basically need an affordable (sub $150) expression pedal to use with HX Stomp for different purposes (volume, parameter change, sometimes wah maybe).

Pedals that don’t deserve the hate they get?

I’ll start with Digitech Death Metal. Shit load of gain, very responsive and wide EQ, pleasant looking and really cheap. Y’all disrespect this pedal so much it’s baffling!

Just a few thoughts from a viewer from Russia

For reasons you all already know movie culture was basically dead in Russia in the last few years. I genuinely don't remember last time I've seen a movie in a theater, mostly because whatever is out in Hollywood was not legally available anywhere here. But I don't even remember the last time someone discussed a movie, or recommended one, or talked about what they wanna go see. Movie theaters exist but I honestly don't know how they didn't just close down. There only been some Russian comedy crap out in these years and a bunch of european stuff here and there, but nothing massive.

And for the first time in what seems like ages, things are changing. People are attending theaters. People are discussing and recommending and arguing and fighting and admiring. And it's all just one movie - Michael.

Not to get political here, but it's crazy how Michael Jackson transcends years, wars, geopolitical conflicts, religions, races, etc. Truly remarkable. Truly amazing.

Would anyone be willing to share your "Pure Clean" type of presets/settings/chains?

I'm looking for a tone to play semi-jazzy semi-ambienty stuff utilizing external looper, freeze pedal and OD-3 in front of the stomp (when needed).

For some reason I'm struggling to get a purely clean tone out of the inbuilt amps, they're all somewhat driven. Also, the compressors on this thing confuse me really.

I had a Valeton GP-5 and that thing was really easy to dial in and to get what I want. I suspect all the options in HX are overwhelming me and maybe not built for beginners, like they're too "pro" for a couch guitarist.

I know there are presets for sale out there but my country destroyed any possibility for me to pay for those, no payment system is accessible.

Any help would be appreciated.
