This vendor got all pissed off that multiple people called them out for using AI photos to advertise their event location.

I commented on their post 4 WEEKS AGO "Admin, these are AI images." Even Facebook labeled their post as AI.

I then got a DM from them calling me mean. I didn't say their venue was shit or even they were ridiculous for using AI. Just that they're going to not get business because they're advertising using AI.

Then tonight, 4 WEEKS LATER, I got this gem of a message from them. That I did damage to their business for commenting "Admin, these are AI images."

So, enjoy the cringe.

Hummingbird Bird

This is my first major piece. I got the kit from Craft Hoop. It was a fun and challenging design. I've done a few other kits and this one was the hardest one I've done so far.

I definitely learned a lot about long and short stitching and chain stitches.

This is a gift for my best friend who lost her brother 5 years ago. The hummingbird is a really sacred animal for her. Even though it's a kit, I wanted to make it for her to remember her brother.

Best way to go from Mestre train station to hotel next Marco Polo Airport

I'm taking the train tomorrow (Saturday July 4th) from Ravenna to Venice Mestre train station with my husband. We'll have luggage with us.

What's the easiest and best way to get to the Best Western Hotel Titan by the Venuce Airport?

I've looked up taxis and the bus route. Both seem do-able but after a long day traveling, I want it to be easy to get to our hotel.

British Airways

I was really surprised by how good my British Airways meal was on a flight from Denver to Heathrow.

I sat in premium economy and the food was better than some restaurants.

It was easy to pre-order a gluten free meal and I had no issues after eating. The stewards on the flight were incredible as well.

HELP! Italy travel - power cord adapter

I'm on my honeymoon and I left my CPAP power cord adapter at home. I have the plug for the wall but I don't have the power adapter to the machine.

Is there anywhere in Venice where I can get the right adapter? I have a ResMed 11 autoset.

I was half asleep when I packed my machine this morning when I left my house. I'm on my flight now.

Has anyone in the Washington DC area eaten at Potomac Social Club in Arlington, VA?I just found out 30 minutes ago that the event I am at is having a dinner at the restaurant.

I'm traveling for work next week and will be staying at the AC Hotel Arlington Landing in Washington, DC.

The organizers are providing breakfast and lunch, and will be giving a per diem for dinner.

Does anyone know if the hotel is able to accommodate Celiac Disease?

I've reached out twice to the organizers and haven't heard back.

I can't leave the hotel for breakfast and lunch because of the event. So, I need to know if I need to ask them to order food specially for me from somewhere close.

Inspiration from my Grandmother

This is my grandmother's work. She was a master embroiderist. I picked the art back up after my dad shared with me that this was the last piece she made before she passed away. I never met her, she passed before I was born.

Her artwork always made me feel close to her when I was kid. Doing embroidery now as an adult brings that feeling back.

May 2, 2026 Gillian and David opened for Jason Isbell.

They opened for Jason Isbell and he told the crowd he listens to their music when everything else has gone to shit so he can remember the good and beauty in the world.

In the encore, he brought them back out to play Mr. Peabody's Coal Train.

It was a magical concert.
