GoManila OVR ticket payment

Hello everyone.

I am trying to pay my OVR ticket online through the GoManila app to avoid the hassle of going to the city hall. I have been waiting for more than a week already for my status to be updated, until now it still says "For checking."

I sent an email to mtpb@manila.gov 2 days ago, and after providing the necessary details, I was told that they will coordinate with the OVR division personally.

What should I do? hoping for responses. Thank you!

What update should I expect from the mtpb after sending my OVR ticket to them via email?

Hello everyone!

For context, I was given a ticket on July 25, 2026. I did not want to go through the process of going to the city hall and decided to download GoManila in order for me to pay through Gcash. After doing the steps needed, such as providing my details, my ticket status was labeled "For checking."

After a few days of waiting up until now, wala paring update. I decided to email mtpb@manila.gov to ask for an update regarding my status. They gave me options such as contacting the support group through viber or calling the OVR hotline. Unfortunately, neither worked because my viber could not be activated and their hotline is said to be unattended.

Now, I received an email telling me to upload my ticket so that they can personally coordinate with the OVR Division. I have now uploaded the picture, but I do not know what to do next.

Should I ask for an update or should I just wait for an email? Hoping for responses. Thank you so much.

FEU Tech submission of Documents

Hello! I am currently trying to submit my documents on FEUs SharePoint portal, and at the moment, I can't submit my certificate of good moral and certificate of graduation. I have filled out the waiver of credentials and also uploaded it along with my PSA and report card. But still, it won't let me submit or proceed to the next step. What do I do? Is there anything I need to put?

Concerns regarding transferring of schools

Hi! Basically, I didn't pass my priority program in UST, which is BSEE (Electrical Engineering). Like they say, UST is the dream, I applied for reconsideration but did not get in due to full capacity and was redirected to a different course (ECE).

Now, one of my options is to apply electrical engineering to another school but eventually apply as a transferee in my second year. I would like to ask these following questions:

  1. Does BSEE in UST accept transferees?

  2. What are the main requirements when transferring?

  3. Is it difficult?

  4. Can you still apply for academic awards? (Latin Honors and etc.)

Please let me know, thank you!

Is ECE worth taking or not?

Hello! I am a recon applicant from UST, and I have been redirected to ECE since EE is in full capacity. Right now, I am deciding between UST and another school. As of now, I am leaning towards UST since it is also a dream of mine to be able to study there. Although ECE is not my priority program, it does share its similarities with EE, and I have heard that it opens up a lot of opportunities.

My main concern is that my parents are against me pursuing ECE if ever. Accordingly, it does not have that many opportunities in the market. Personally, I really want to pursue this program, but I do not know if it is truly worth taking.

Please let me know what type of opportunities this course can open up to. Tyia!

Is ECE worth it?

Is ECE worth taking and pursuing? I recently applied for reconsideration in my application for electrical engineering in UST. However, after more than a month of waiting for results, I unfortunately did not get in EE due to full capacity. Instead, I was redirected to ECE.

Right now, I am stuck on deciding between MAPUA and UST. In MAPUA, I also didn't pass for EE. But I was offered computer engineering, and they gave me the option to shift towards EE. However, it is processed through evaluation, so it is not guaranteed. I am leaning more towards UST even though I have no chances of getting in EE anymore. Since ECE is a subset of EE and accordingly opens a lot of opportunities.

Please let me know whats best!

Which school should I go for? (I am eligible to get in both)

Hi! Right now, I'm stuck on deciding which school I should go for. My priority program for both schools is Electrical Engineering, however, I was not able to get in for both schools due to the following reasons: I did not meet the cut-off scores and was offered Computer Engineering (MAPUA) and I got redirected to Electronics Engineering (UST).

In MAPUA, although I did not originally pass for EE in the MPASS (mapuas entrance exam), they told me that I have the option to shift towards EE, but it wouldn't be guaranteed since it would be for ongoing evaluation. For UST, I sent a reconsideration letter for my application for EE. Unfortunately, the slots were full, and instead, they redirected me to ECE. According to the reconsideration guidelines, I can't shift to another engineering program.

My concern is that I do not know which path to take. If I take MAPUA, it is not guaranteed that I am able to get in my dream program, and I am left with no choice but to take computer engineering. If I choose UST, unlike in MAPUA, from the start palang, I really have no choice but to pursue electronics engineering. And between CPE and ECE, I do not know which has more opportunities. Both are good schools, and I am having a difficult time deciding.
