Thought I would share some pictures I took yesterday in Goodhue County. Pictures 1-4 are of Zumbrota, including the Zumbrota Covered Bridge, the last remaining covered bridge in Minnesota. Pictures 5-8 are from Pine Island, including the Pine Island Cheese Factory, host of the annual Pine Island Cheese Festival. Really cool to finally explore these two towns I've driven by dozens of times, and the weather was great!

Finally, Pictures 9-10 are why I was in Goodhue County in the first place—to attempt to photograph the Rochester skyline from as far away as possible. Picture 9 shows Rochester from roughly 16 miles away near Pine Island, and Picture 10 shows Rochester from roughly 19 miles away near Zumbrota.

The 1st picture is zoomed in on the Faribault water tower, while the 2nd picture also shows the Dundas water tower, about 3 miles away. Also faintly visible on the horizon in the 2nd picture are a couple smokestacks in Faribault, about 10 miles away on the far left side of the picture.
