Hello potential new Friend! 👋
Today I'm here to offer you a roleplay in the wonderful and monstrous world of the Continent.
While I'd appreciate prior knowledge of at least the games and maybe the books, they are not a requirement if your OC can travel the multiverse.
Info here: Your OC can be from the The Witcher universe, from another universe,... we're not bound by a lot, and the plots can always be adjusted.
On to the plot, I give you the option to choose between two.
- The Hunted Sorceress
Shortly after stumbling into the realm of the Witcher, you meet a young woman who seems to run from more than just actual threats. While she deflects with wit, charm, and ale, there seems to be more to her than meets the eye... Are you daring to stay close to a storm wrapped in velvet?

This time, a young man stumbles upon you while looking for something. His blue, cat-like eyes might be a warning, but you likely feel drawn in by the mysterious gentle giant anyway. Yet beneath the soft facade and armor lie scars that whisper stories of years of pain... Will you be able to unravel them?

╰┈➤ Canon Characters I'm comfortable portraying: Yennefer of Vengerberg, Cirilla "Ciri" Fiona Elen Riannon, Lambert, Eskel, Dettlaff van der Eretein, Radovid V the Stern, Gaunter O'Dimm, and a few more; those are just the ones I remember at the top of my head.
Now, as for requirements:
• You need to be 21+. I am 24 myself, and I'm not comfortable RPing with anyone under 21. Our characters have to be 18+ too.
• I roleplay strictly on Discord, so I'm sorry if we're not compatible in that regard.
• This is likely going to be a semi-lit to lit fantasy-, action-, and drama-centered roleplay in third person. I'm also looking for at least 3 paragraphs. Now, if you are looking for anything that isn't listed, you won't find it here.
• I'm also looking for someone who can separate between OCs, personas, and self-inserts. You won't find self-inserts here, but since I fell so violently in love with the OC in option 1, I named my accounts after her. I'm sorry if that causes an issue.

Did I overreact?
Hello people.
I'm here today seeking support, feedback, and constructive criticism.
The situation went poorly, and I acknowledge that I likely didn't help at the time. I posted about it on another BPD subreddit a few days ago, and it flew pretty under the radar.
Unfortunately, this person in particular reached out again the day before yesterday and today, despite me having said we shouldn't be in contact.
I still feel overwhelmed with this. I'm 24, diagnosed with BPD and C-PTSD, along with some other diagnoses I am not gonna name right now, and I'm struggling with a migraine today.
While I'm in therapy, I literally had my last session yesterday, and I thought this chapter was done, but apparently it's not.
I just need some unbiased opinions from outside...
For privacy in the screenshots:

• Purple = my real-life name (which I regret giving him)
• Pink = an ex-friend involved in the original disagreement
I'm also not sure this matters, but we know each other for maybe a month...

So, let me quickly explain the setting:
The RP takes place at the start of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, shortly after Geralt was at the royal palace of Vizima and got forcefully shaven (#justiceforgeralt), leaving everyone with a relatively open path for how to continue the story.
Rather than simply recreating the events of the game, we're leaving room for our characters and their actions to influence where the story goes from here.
The Basics
Please know at least the games. If you know the books as well? Fantastic! We primarily follow the games and books, and the Netflix interpretation of The Witcher isn't part of our canon.
This is NOT A TTRPG. (Sorry boo's 🥲🫶)
The RP itself is third person, semi-lit to lit, with a focus on fantasy, action, character interactions, and collaborative storytelling.
Both canon characters and OCs are welcome!
As long as a canon character isn't claimed by another player, anyone is welcome to use them as an NPC when needed.
OCs will need to be approved by our wonderful mods before joining the RP, just to make sure they don't conflict with OCs already belonging to other players.
If there is a conflict, we'll connect you with the other player to see if you can find a compromise or workaround—for example, if your characters have overlapping relationships or backstories.
There will also be some cool server-wide events along the way. 👀

Aren't all fandom RPs collaborative fanfic's?
Okay, so this just happened, and I'm genuinely confused and hurt about it.
I have been looking for The Witcher fandom RPs. I even made a group RP.
But like... if you write RPs in fandoms... isn't it just collaborative fanfiction?
The trigger for this question is that I've just been told that someone felt like they were here for my fanfic instead of something collaborative. And I'm unsure if I actually did something wrong.

PS: I've been struggling with a depressive episode, so I'd really appreciate it if we could keep the criticism constructive.

Edit: I think it is important to add that I didn't post this out of spite, but out of confusion and hurt. Issues were never disclosed prior to this despite OOC chatting, which is why it felt unexpected and overwhelming.
Edit 2: Just to make this clear since they saw this post and decided to reply: This is not a Witchhunt or "they evil, I good". I think we both made mistakes and didn't properly communicate. There was information missing, and while it's a shame it ended like this, I can finally understand why.
Edit 3: Anyway, harassment toward them will not be tolerated, just so that's clear.
Edit 4: Since people keep misunderstanding this, I'll clarify this once here: OOC talks were happening. Boundaries weren't disclosed. That's what they had an issue with (they did not disclose that they were uncomfortable with CC).
I absolutely made mistakes. I should've communicated more clearly, should've checked in more OOC, and maybe I missed a cue; maybe I could've fixed it.
Yet I can't smell issues, and I didn't know they felt that way. It was the first time discomfort was communicated, and I was blindsided. I thought the RP was going well.
Another thing I will admit to is that I could've handled the pacing better, and I appreciate the criticism. Then again, I cannot grow without critique. And to receive critique, to improve, you need to communicate.
The person and I didn't properly communicate at all.
Edit 5: Seeing some more replies, I'll write one last thing before muting this:
If my style is not for you, or doesn't mesh with yours, that's totally okay. All writing styles are valid, and you will find partners that match with you.
One-liners, semi-lit, lit, novella, etc. you're all okay as you are. You don't need to change yourselves just to fit someone else's view.
Now, I came here for advice because I was hurt. I asked for constructive criticism of myself. The ones who gave that, I thank you; to the few who said they saw nothing wrong with me, I also thank you. But those who became incredibly pressed about it? Maybe... don't engage? That is not to say your frustration is invalid, but directing it at me when our styles simply don't match is exhausting to read.
You don't like how I write. That's okay; you don't have to. But that was not the criticism I was looking for, as my question was: "Why agree to a fandom RP if not to essentially collaboratively write something akin to a fanfic?"
I agree that I might've progressed too quickly, yet I was never asked to slow down or initially given criticism. I acknowledge that, I apologize for it, and I will try to communicate better with future RP partners.
But I also disagree that I gave my partner no room. And while I will not control their character, let me give an example through Geralt and what I'd have written:
Geralt's amber, cat-like eyes snapped toward the threat. He had felt it even before the portal had torn open, his medallion insistently vibrating against his chest, making him aware that magic was being used, and it was long before the finger of his long-lost daughter even twitched.
Putting her down, he shoved her behind himself, his fingers instead wrapping around the hilt of the silver sword strapped to his back, pulling it free from the confinement of its sheath.
He had only recently met them, and their frost gave them away: the Wild Hunt. A threat he unfortunately was getting too accustomed to.
But why were they chasing her? He had thought they were only after Ciri, but now they were seemingly intent on catching both his daughters. Not like he was going to let that happen, not in this lifetime.
So his stance switched, combat-ready, in front of Eusthasia despite her magical defenses, slowly backing toward the portal before finally raising his voice: "Letho, Griffin, flank me!"
The request flew through the cold air, and while the other Witchers had no reason to trust or help him, he hoped there would be loyalty...
Loyalty against monsters.

Knowledge of the fandom would be splendid, preferably the games *and* books, though either of them should work fine as well. I can fill you in on gaps if necessary.
I'd be specifically keen for any ships including your own OC's or any ships of my OC x Gaunter O'Dimm and/or Letho of Gulet.
The RP will likely be action/fantasy focused. (Unless you want to roleplay as Geralt or something. That would end up in a platonic/angst RP. 💀)
A few facts about me:
English is my second language, so if I make huge mistakes you'd like to point out, please do. Constructive criticism is always appreciated.
My time zone is GMT+2, though I don't require you to be close; I'm fine with a few exchanges weekly or daily, depending on both our availability.
You can call me Eusthasia. I'm 24-years-old, and I've roleplayed on and off for 13 years (I ONLY ACCEPT RP PARTNERS THAT ARE 21+!!).

The first things up front:
We'd play at the start of Witcher 3. So best case you'd be familiar with the books and games, worst case just the games.
I'm open for all sorts of fandom RPs (as long as it's the Witcher), though I'd prefer your OC x my OC or your Fanon character x my OC.
However, I'd prioritize Gaunter O'Dimm x my OC, Letho of Gulet x my OC, or both x my OC.
Now, more importantly:
Hi, I'm Eusthasia, and English is my second language. I've been on and off in the roleplay community, though I started off on Instagram roughly 13 years ago? I'm 24 now, so I'd appreciate if all my rp partners were 21+.
I'm strictly against GenAI, so if you use it in any capacity... I kindly ask you to find someone else. We'd not be a good fit.
A few more rules when writing with me:
I prefer third person as it makes things more detached. I'm not my character, you're not yours, and outside of roleplay we can be friends but nothing more.
I'd ask you to be descriptive, preferably semi-lit or lit without godmodding, and while I might be a bit rusty, I'll try my best to measure up.

So, recently, with a new tablet, I've improved on my art. I'd say BY A LOT (Largely because I was forced to find new brushes as IbisPaintX didn't copy those over-).
But I was hoping I could get some feedback on the artworks? Do you think they are better? Worse? What works well, what doesn't?

Lune & Vorkoth 🌙😈
— A poppet and her demon Eidolon
Pathfinder has finally given me inspiration to draw again (fu art block-) and these are the results for an upcoming campaign (or campaigns? 👀).
My DM inspired A LOT about them, and not all of their lore is 100% set in stone yet, but they are husband and wife with the trope "she fell first, he fell harder". They are absolutely adorable. 💕
PF2e Character Info:
Lune is a Poppet Summoner, accompanied by her demon Eidolon, Vorkoth. They're husband and wife, and their relationship is the emotional core of the character. They're intended for an upcoming campaign, so I'm keeping the rest of their story under wraps to avoid spoilers for my fellow players in case they find the post or I share it. 💕
