Is Wynuum Grade Seperation Possible

I was looking at the Wynnum Centre Suburban Renewal Precinct and it looks great and all but I don't know how you can develop a high density region there with all the level crossings and don't get me started on the bridge that basically every truck driver hits every second week

I can only think of them elevating the stations (Wynuum North, Wynuum, Wynuum Central) but I don't know how they would go about doing it

What if this game required you to use pumps to move fluids

and you also have to worry about NPSHA and pump cavitation🤑

and you had to use the extended bernoulli equation to figure out output pressure😱

6 Months with the Mive ALT Style Folder 2 Japanese Edition

https://preview.redd.it/pa9gcxgr4wdh1.jpg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=704f71328796ac6cbc03a75fcf8a65fc949cbe58

I've had this phone for well over 6 months now. Let me first start by listing the things I have liked with this phone:

  1. Its cool. Its a cool looking phone that most people where I live (australia) have never seen before. gets a lot of attention
  2. Fairly usable. Runs most apps that I need, including banking apps. Can run instagram but I choose not to install it.
  3. Typing with T3 works great, I have very little issues with it.
  4. Calls work wonderfully, since the japanese version has better connectivity for where I live.
  5. The screen on the back is cool as it displays the time and my steps.
  6. Pretty fast for a phone like this, can open apps fairly quickly.
  7. Expandable storage is good.
  8. Headphone jack is awesome.
  9. Screen is good enough.

Now all the issues with it:

  1. No android auto. This hurts my soul so much because I have to carry around my iPhone if I want to use Waze or Music for my car.
  2. Battery life gets worse. It started great, but over time I believe the capacity reduced and now it can die fairly quickly, especially if you leave hotspot turned on, it WILL die in a couple of hours.
  3. Some parts of my apps simply don't work with the keypad, for example I cannot type in my pin for my banking app, so I have to use my password everytime.
  4. Its still big. Yes its smaller than most phones, but for a flip phone its still quite large. And heavy.
  5. Camera sucks. There is nothing else to say but that it is not very good. Works, but not good.
  6. No NFC, so no tapping to pay.
  7. No in-built QR code scanner.

Will I get another phone? Possibly, not having android auto / carplay is the biggest turn off for me. perhaps the next version will come shipped with it.

My wishlist for the next generation of phones like this:

  1. OLED screen
  2. NFC
  3. Better battery
  4. Android Auto
  5. Smaller size / less weight

Complicated Modpacks

I played GTNH for a bit but then I got bored when I realized the "hardest" part of the modpack was just the amount of grinding you needed to do. Looking for something like GTNH, but rather, its difficult not because of the grind, but because of the mechanics, like perhaps you need to do actual math or draw flow diagrams to progress further. Something like that, I study engineering so it would be nice to apply what I learn into a game.

Question about UV penetration

From my understanding one of the main concerns with seed oils is that when it oxidises it releases free radicals. There is no doubt that uncontrolled, unnatural (i.e not delierabtely caused by the body) sources of free radicals in the body is probably bad for you.

However, I can't seem to find any research that demonstrates that UV radiation can penetrate the skin deep enough to cause the oxidisation mechanism to occur.

Can someone help me out? Thanks

What is the current Lucid Dreaming Meta?

I stopped practicing lucid dreaming about 3 years ago but I have decided to return.

What are the current strategies / methods to induce lucid dreaming? Is it still the same as 3 years ago or have people discovered new mechanisms?

Does anyone else follow a partial / semi raw primal diet?

Like I for breakfast I drink raw milk raw egg yolks and raw honey, for lunch its usually some raw red steak, but for dinner I usually eat what my mom cooks (we don't use seed oils so I don't have to worry abt that)

i know its not 100% primal but i think i would be miserable if i didnt anything my mom cooked

Should I still have Salmon / Sardines?

It has been almost 6 months since I started eating Peaty. I can't remember the last time I had anything to do with seed oils, let alone PUFAs.

However, very occasionally (once a week at best) I would indulge in some wild salmon or canned sardines. For the most part I didn't think much of it due to how little I was having.

But looking through more posts (on this subreddit and some others) it seems that there is some evidence pointing towards having some Omega 3s in your diet. It seems that most people, even when cutting out major sources of PUFAs will still get an a minute amount from things like red meat, and the occasional fish.

What do you think? It seems that Ray Peat was against Salmon due to its PUFA content, but there seems to be the possiblity of Omega 3 deficiency as well.

[Product Question] Retinol Eye Cream for Tretinoin Users

I currently use 0.01% tretinoin but I am aware I cannot under any circumstance use it near my eyes due to irritation, instead I am supposed to use a retinol eye cream.

Most people here seem to recommend some starter beginner strength retinols but since I've been using tretinoin for a while now I think I can start with something stronger.

Any recommendations?

Sunscreen and Pigmentation

Some while ago I started using sunscreen and my natural skin tone started getting lighter before plateauing, I always assumed for a long time I had very dark brown almost black skin, but after using sunscreen my skin tone has become a very nice olive tone.

I read online that sunscreen can allow your skin to return to its normal skin tone due to sun damage. But it seems Ray Peat is against most modern sunscreens due because the body can absorb certain chemicals in them?

What should I do?

Topical progesterone for men?

I found some skincare products that contain progesterone derived from Wild Yams. Should I use this? If so, what mg? (one product says each pump contains about 15mg of progesterone)

Thanks

Hyperdosing Vitamins pre-exam?

Has anyone taken largest quantities of certain vitamins before an exam?

I've already been doing L-Theanine and Caffeine before my exams, but I was wondering if there are any more experimental ways like megadosing on certain vitamins
