Gorons are the type that would enjoy muckbang videos if they existed.
And would be up to date on all of the Nick Avocado drama.

What if only after your fully beat the story mode, you get an option for dynamic weather and time of day to your area. So say you're pulling an all nighter swinging, and the suns about to come up in real time, the game will actually simulate that and slowly change to daylight. Or if it's raining or snowing irl it can match to that as well.
Lots of cpu to use and a whole system to implement i know, but i still think that could be cool.
I type this as I'm on my break. But on Fridays and Saturdays I usually get help from a second dishie to help make the work load from the crowd easier. My usual help called in today (which on one hand, thank God, I can't stand her) but the help they gave me is a weird duality of, really nice and ready to help and all, but she's not very bright and very slow. Meanwhile we have a new cook who's got a massive attitude and a literal old man that gets in everyone's way. I enjoy working here most nights, but management really needs to get their shit together and not just throw a rock by the river, see who it hits and hires then (KOTH reference that is beyond relevant right now)
Starting to wonder if they're used that much, but i always thought it was better to get as good as you can without them.
I actually have a use for my zenni now.
Before the dlc, I barely used the zenni I got over time because I had unlocked everything I could and I don't really fuck with the skill capsules (maybe it's a UI thing cause I loved that shit in budikai 3) so I just had a massive pile of in game money just sitting there. So i gotta say, the limit breaker mode is super fun, and i can actually use the buffs in the beginning. More of a reason to get dragonballs too.
Side note. The OGDB characters are very appreciated. If this wasn't a Dragonball game I wouldn't have ever put this much time and money into the game.
R.I.P Toriyama 🙏
You know it's made me think lately... for as much shit as Nintendo gets for their business practices. At least they still understand that connection with holding the game in your hand knowing it's yours. I can be happy to at least say I actually OWN my switch games and don't necessarily require wifi to enjoy them. Specifically BOTW.
I've come to realize it's my favorite game of all time for many reasons. I couldn't imagine having this taken from me one day. I'll forever stand on my millenial hill and continue to cherish physical media. Tomorrow after work I'm even going to be hopping back into TOTK after my long break to appreciate that.
I hate the future. But I love Zelda.
A short rant for reddit because no one else irl really cares lol
I dropped off of the series after 3. 2 being a personal nostalgia game for me. Which is very apparent coming back to it after several years. The story of Desmond and the atmosphere of the first original games biggest strengths. That being said the gameplay has not aged well at all and so many times I'm either dumbfounded or annoyed at the stiff controls and the camera that fights you if you don't know exactly where you're going.
All in all. I'm doing Desmonds story in the near order i can and then moving on. Mainly because I've been playing way too much Zelda before this.
Where's your spot in the game to sit and chill?
Bare in mind that's one side of the pit...
These are re posts from my old account but it's been a while anyways. Gonna try and get back into it
I'll admit to nostalgia goggles, but the comedic bits just hit better when they looked like twitchy Muppets imo. That being said, still a gorgeous game!
I call it "I'm feeling it now Mr. Krabs"

I call it "...God damn it, Zelda"
I've been playing for about 2 and a half weeks almost every night after work. I'm about to go into my second dungeon, with some unfinished side quests I'll get back to. I intend to finish this game like BOTW. I jumped into this one right after I beat the previous. Which probably is a big factor to my opinion. Without spoiling anything for myself or others I won't ramble with what I know so far. But I will say this.
There's a video on YouTube I've seen come up that I intend to watch after I fully beat TOTK. but the title said "TOTK is a disappointing masterpiece" and from that title alone.....i may be starting to agree.
Every time I find one, right on que she mimics the "Wah Ha Haa!!" And giggles at hetsu when he does his macharina dance. makes me smile every time. There's no point to this post other than sharing that.
So at our pub we have two morning shift cooks who are a couple. The type that if one leaves so does the other. And they're incredibly rude and bullies to other co workers and night shift people, and get away with it. (Terrible management i know but that's another post for another day)
Two days ago. Said cook, left a couple of boxes of stuff I don't even remember what it was. But the note said "please leave out for morning" and as what i felt was a light hearted joke I took a sharpie and wrote under it "I do what I want". Bare in mind still left out just as he asked. I go in the next day and my manager pulls me aside while I'm washing dishes and asked if it was me that did it, I was honest and said yes. He told me apparently that he not only didn't appreciate it or find it funny at all he got in a huge hissy fit over it and took it out on everyone throwing off the tone for the morning. I didn't get in trouble or yelled at but I was advised to apologize to him even though I never even see the guy. We talked again later in the night and I expressed how it's beyond unfair that they get to do things like leave grease buckets for us but yell at us through group chat and in person if we leave one. Or leave condisending notes for everyone on the white board calling people incompetent. But I make one harmless joke in the most innocent and light hearted manner possible and we get hell for it. Luckily he agrees and is on my side about it. But with this on top of working exhaustingly busy weekends by myself in the pit, and personal life stress. I'm really starting to consider looking for another restaurant and putting in my two weeks. I've been here for three years and don't feel like this treatment will change any time soon.
Hated the tutorial. But after I got back into hyrule I started to get the hang of things. I named my horses after mine and my girlfriends cats. Rocky recently passed so I was happy to have them back on this file. Especially my big boy 🥹 R.I.P.
It was a rough start but this game is growing on me.....i want my master cycle back though. I worked hard for that damn it.
Maybe I started it too quickly. But I started the tutorial. Looked around and had a "I don't like change" moment. So many questions I don't want spoilers to right away. Might give myself more time before I fully go into this game. Still taking in everything I accomplished in BOTW anyways. Anyone else experience this?
