Hi all this post isn't for me but really my nephew. He loves stripping wire and "selling" the scrap copper (I use the term selling loosely because he's started hoarding it to try and sell it at a higher price).

I've now caught him 3 times in construction sites dumpster diving. He's currently being raised by his grandparents and they don't ask where the copper comes from.

What are some resources for finding scrap copper? I've reached out to electricians but they all think I'm lying to get free scrap. I've even offered to pay for the leftovers but nothing.

Do people understand that Costco is attempting to eliminate the self checkout. People dont seem to understand that the "self checkout" is slowly converting to "prescan checkout".

Costco's new pre-scan checkout system replaces traditional self-checkout by having an employee scan your cart items while you wait in line, cutting final register time to roughly 8 seconds. Traditional self-checkout requires you to manually unload and scan every heavy item yourself, which Costco found to be slower and prone to scanning errors

Please listen to employees directions. These cashes are for smaller orders to get people the fuck out. Not for you to show up with 50 items for you to scan and unload this further slows down the process as people have followed instructions to be prescanned now have to wait for you.

Where do you recommend we go to eat? I wanted to check out Vavaldi but I think thats more because of their social media presence that keeps popping up on my YouTube feed. What about a quiet breakfast spot?

I am feeling stuck and overwhelmed. I have lost 80 lbs and would love to lose another 70 lbs but I have stopped going to the gym. On the positive note I have maintained the weight lost through this journey for 6 months. I want to go back to the gym but Im stuck and have no idea what to do to help me reach my goals. Ideally I want to go 3 days a week and do a total body workout in under 60 minutes with a 15 to 20 minute cool down on the bike. I just dont know where to start. I feel so overwhelmed.

Looking into the Breville Bambino but Im unsure if this is the best entry level machine at this price point.

Is there something better or equivalent at a lower price point. Anything else you would recommend next.
