I don’t care if the politics are left, right, or somewhere in between. Football players are there to play football.
What rubs a lot of fans the wrong way is watching billionaire owners and activist groups decide they need to “educate” grown men on what they’re supposed to believe.

Most of these players are adults. They came from different neighborhoods, different families, different backgrounds, and they’ve managed to make it all the way to the NFL without somebody holding their hand and telling them how to think.

That’s why this whole thing feels wrong.

Will they replace my 5090 since I have a protection plan or am I going to get screwed and end up on the hook for the difference in price of a new card? I was lucky and able to snag up a Zotac for MSRP ($2K) when they first dropped.

Okay so I need to get this off my chest.

This was my 13th-ish cruise, more than half with Royal, and I’ve genuinely loved every one of them up to now. That’s the whole reason this trip bugged me so much.

The crowd this time though? Woof. I don’t know who they’re selling these sailings to anymore but these people looked like they walked right out of one of those Florida news clips, the ones where the headline starts with “man arrested after.” Loud, messy, no class, all weekend.

So there’s this blowup in the Promenade, some family going at it with each other. My buddy pulls out his phone and starts filming. One of the family sees the phone and absolutely loses it on him in front of everyone.

Alright, heated moment, I get it. But then security rolls up and instead of sorting out what actually happened, they grab my guy who is black as well btw walk him into the karaoke bar after it’s already closed, lock all the doors, and just interrogate him in there. For about an hour. Just him and security. He didn’t throw a punch, didn’t touch anybody, his big crime was holding up a phone. Meanwhile everybody else just goes back to their night.

Then the adult game show. I know it’s 18+, but WOW. They’ll ask someone to show a piercing and next thing you know women are flat out flashing the room and the staff acts like that’s just Tuesday. There’s adult humor and then there’s a cruise line shrugging at full nudity in a public venue. Sir this is a Wendy’s… not what I got on the ship for.

And yeah, before someone says go complain to them, I did. Hit up guest relations, then the executive office, typed the whole thing out, asked them to actually look into it. Nothing. Dead silence.

13+ cruises and this is the first time I’ve ever felt like I had to take something public. Anybody else run into security pulling this kind of thing? Is there any actual accountability on these ships or do they just do whatever they want and dare you to push back?
