Ive been watching some judo instructionals (gripping) and have a question about bjj players grupping

So the judo insturctionals tend to say to kill the front sleeve first using your rear hand. Watching some bjj matches they all tend to grab the opponents collar with rear hand then they grab the opponents rear sleeve with their front/ power hand as the judoka calls it.

Is this just lack of knowledge or is their a bjj reason judo gripping wont work?

Finally hit 50 pullupd in a sessiom hell yeah. Thanks to Kboges pullup mastery

Took a few months but finally hit a milestone. Never did 50 before. Did it during the ladder portion using my neutral grip pullup handles. Cant wait to hit my subset for 50 reps. Its On 45 currently. This marks the official end of week 12.

My ladder started on 19 pullups. Subset started on 22.

Time it took for the 50 pullups: about 12 minutes.

Did sets 1 to 4 then reset.

I might stay on 50 for now until i feel comfortable. Of course if I feel goof i will try to do 5 reps on my last set.

Overall im happy woo hoo

Polar h9... seems i had a battery leak. What to do?

I know this sub loves the polar chest straps so i ask here. What so i do with the device? I dabbed the moisture with a cotton bud. Leaving it out to dry... do i test device? Dont want it exploding on me lol

Maybe this sub is better to ask: can anyone give insight as to why Alex Pereira doesn't teep and throw body kicks?

Is there something about his style? He plods forward anyway. I feel like he might as well teep. He also barely throws body kicks. I know this is all hindsight but feels like a teep is a basic strike you should have as a striker

I know this is all hindsight but man why doesn't Alex teep and body kick?

He wants to be a pure striker all good. But I feel like a teep should a basic part of your striking
