I was reading a fanfic a while ago and I just absolutely loved the story and concept the author had to tell but omg their spelling mistakes and grammar issues bugged me so much. Like I NEEDED to go out of my way to ask if I could help because it bugged me so much. Ofc I didn’t tell the author that’s the reason I wanted to help but over the course of betaing for this person they have grown so much❤️
Also it was their first ever fan fic so can’t blame them much

I’ve seen posts where people make fun of people using turkey feathers as it’s less sacred. Personally I use turkey feathers since I’m not federally enrolled as slightly under my tribes blood quantum but like I always thought it was fine ??
We are up north Spokane and middle of like 3 big ass fires and yet my school still try is currently trying to get marching band up and running while
a. All the kids not dying from smoke and
b. Hope the school stays safe from the fires. Plus we have all the leftover renovations from it flooding last year😭
Literally my band directors basically messaged being like “hope everyone stays safe. This whole situation is awful… but make sure you are practicing music we are NOT postponing unless absolutely necessary and good luck drumline y’all are at the school first”
Also the people who are local can probably guess what school I go to
(Edit: we will be inside for as much as we can they aren’t allowed or going to in the first place have us outside in the awful smoke)

I’m only 16 and for my summer job have a seasonal position at my local farm of being a farm laborer. And it’s hard work especially now it’s past 90 degrees consistently but all my family says is “this will teach you the importance of getting a good job.” Like okay??? I already knew it’s better to get a good education and better job but the job I’m working now really isn’t bad. And my coworkers are really nice and pay is decent. Also I am already in college and doing my summer quarter so clearly an already working on higher education so why do I need this as a “lesson” even though I clearly already understand what I’m being “taught” with this job.
I’ve always thought that even if your smart and successful it’s important to know how to do physical stuff and labor so you can be self sufficient to an extent 🤷♂️
I know it’s pretty high resolution already but I’m picky about phone wallpapers and if I can see lack in quality I hate it. I swear my biggest pet peeve is low quality wallpapers on someone’s phone.

I bought the book online as an audiobook since I’ve started my summer job which consists of weeding a big ass field for 4 hours every day. In other words super boring and when i was just listening to music I was counting down the minutes till it was over. But now I switched to audiobooks and holy PHM is soooo good. Like I’m trying to save the rest of the book to distract me at work for as long as possible but it’s so hard to not keep reading it💔 either way I know I’m finishing it in the next week because it’s consumed my life
Also the first audiobook I listened to was the metamorphosis and my god that was depressing as hell

From Moscow showcase premiere and It was so amazing. This is one of the coolest moves to me and was one of the first things I was introduced to when told about dci. My drum teacher before I started HS told me about it and this move specifically so has that importance to me. Also it’s just super badass
