Am I actually bad at AWS SAA, or are Stephen Marek’s practice exams just hard????

ive been taking Stephen's practice exams for the AWS SAA, and im honestly getting a little worried about my scores....

Here are my scores so far:

  • Practice Test 1: 56% → 89% on my second attempt
  • Practice Test 2: 56% → 91% on my second attempt
  • Practice Test 3: 52% on my first attempt (I took this one today)

The thing thats bothering me is that I keep getting around the 50–56% range on my first attempts.....

im not sure how to interpret this. Are Stephen Marek’s exams significantly harder than the actual SAA exam, or am I genuinely not prepared enough yet?????

for anyone who has used these practice exams and taken the actual AWS SAA exam, how did your practice scores compare with your real exam score?

Should I be worried about consistently getting around 50% on my first attempts, or is this normal for these practice tests?

Any advice on how I should proceed would be appreciated.

AWS SAA Practice Test What Should i Do Next?

I recently took an AWS Solutions Architect practice test and scored lower than I expected. Now I’m trying to figure out the best way to review the test and improve instead of simply taking more practice exams.

Scored 52% on my 1st AWS Solutions Architect practice exam today feeling a bit down...tips ?

today took a practice exam for the SAA (the one which comes with stephane's course) and scored 52%....
im honestly a little disappointed...i was expecting somewhere around 60–70%, so seeing 52% definitely brought my confidence down a bit....

But i went through the results and took notes on the topics and concepts where i struggled. My plan now is to review those areas properly, understand what i got wrong, and then take another practice exam....

What worries me is that this was just the practice exam included with the course. im planning to take Stephan and Tutorial Dojo’s practice exams next, which i expect to be harder....

For the ppl who passed the SAA exam, did you also start around 50-60% on practice tests? How did you improve from there??
ANY TIPS ??

How should i approach practice exams for AWS SAA? Stephane Maarek + Tutorials Dojo

im currently preparing for the AWS Solutions Architect Associate exam and I’ve reached the practice exam stage.

So far ive

  • Finished Stephane Maarek’s SAA course
  • Revised my weaker topics
  • Revised the important/high-weight topics
  • Read through the relevant AWS whitepapers
  • Gone through a cheat sheet
  • Reviewed some flashcards

now im planning to start practice exams, mainly Stephane Maarek’s and Tutorials Dojo...

Basically, what practice exam strategy worked best for you, and at what point did you feel ready to book/take the actual SAA exam ???

Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks!

I've been around Reddit for over 10 years [piece of adivse read fully]

For the first few yrs, didn't even have an acc I just lurked and stalked a few subreddits..then the Pewdiepie era happened, and i started using reddit a lot more....about 5yrs ago, i finally made my first account...

Now that Reddit has become much more mainstream, here's one piece of advice from my experience

if someone insults or abuses you in the comments, dont go to their level, Reply with respect.

In my experience, nothing embarrasses a rude person more than realizing they couldn't get the reaction they wanted....

another piece of advise:
ive made some amazing friends/brothers/sisters here....a few of my online friends have become people i value even more than some of my real life friends...reddit can genuinely create meaningful connections...

This is just my opinion, but i prefer keeping my posts and comments public...While privacy is important, i think transparency helps ppl understand who theyre interacting with**...**

Finally, whether it's politics, movies, or any other topic, let's have healthy discussions..disagree all you want, but avoid whataboutism and personal attacks....

nandri for readgin!!!

How did you revise for the AWS SAA exam after finishing Stephane Maarek's course?

HELLO PEOPLE

I'm currently about halfway through Stephane Maarek's AWS Solutions Architect Associate course, and so far it's been great, im able to understand the services...

As I go through the course, im not just watching the video, im also doing the hands on labs to understand how everything works....

My plan after finishing the course is:

  • Do a complete revision.
  • Take Stephane's practice exams.
  •  Take Tutorials Dojo practice exams.
  • Review my mistakes and weak areas.

My biggest concern is retention...even though im doing the hands-on exercises, the course covers so many AWS services that im worried ill forget details by the time i start the practice exams....and main exam

For those who have already passed the SAA exam:

  • What was your revision strategy after finishing the course?
  • How did you retain all the important concepts and remember the differences between similar services?
  • Did you use notes, Anki flashcards, mind maps, or something else?
  • Roughly how long did you spend revising before starting the practice exams?

id love to hear what worked best for you...
Thanks in advance...

Overrating the idea of “grooming players” in the IPL

i don’t really understand when people say we should groom players and make them great...

Yes, developing players is important, but this is the IPL a short tournament where every match matters....teams dont always have the luxury of giving someone 5 – 6 games just to find their rhythm.

A player getting chances is fine, but at some point they need to start contributing quickly....take someone like Kartik Sharma as an example he needed a good number of matches before things started clicking. In a 14 game league, thats a huge investment....

ipl is not exactly like domestic cricket where the main goal is longterm development. franchises spend crores, fans expect results, and A SLOW START CAN END UR SEASON BEFORE YOU CAN RECOVER....thats what happened to us this yr..

Grooming should happen, but not at the cost of losing half the season waiting for someone to come good....
