Iraqi looking to go to the UAE

Hello everyone,

I'm an iraqi man looking to move to the United Arab Emirates , and live in an affordable emirate such as Sharjah, Ajman or RAK , and possibly commute to dubai if a job was found there .

I visited the UAE back in 2019 with no luck in finding a job, I plan to move again now and try my luck once again but I dont want to repeat the same experience in 2019 and end up spending my hard earned money without being able to land any job.

I have lived outside Iraq for over 20 years, I know almost nothing about it however the place that I live in doesn't permit me to work properly so I'm stuck and unable to grow,

I'm now 31 with a bachelor's degree in translation, with 5 years of experience in multiple fields and in need to end this nightmare and go to another country such as the UAE , there's a lot geopolitical obstacles in the region and Iraqi passport holders might seem like a huge turn off

so I wonder if anyone knows any companies that can sponsor me or help me relocate ? It usually takes 2-3 weeks to get processed but most of these companies are just impatient and want faster alternatives

I checked RAKEZ out and I'm still waiting for their response but in the meantime, I look forward to hearing youre opinions/suggestions!

Looking to move to Sharjah - UAE

Salam alykoum

Does anyone know how can i secure a job offer from outside the UAE? most companies on jobs platforms are almost always scams or oversaturated with applications ,

I visited Sharjah /Dubai in 2019 , I loved Sharjah vibes but I couldn't settle down, I'm an Arab with over 5 years of experiences in the administrative and customer service fields and

does anybody recommend or suggest any ideas as to what to do?

Administrative Assistant & Customer Support specialist

Hi everyone,

I'm a customer service and administrative professional and I'm hoping to relocate to Dubai for work.

I'm reaching out because I know how tough it can be to break into the UAE job market from outside, and I'd really appreciate any leads, advice, or connections from this community.

A bit about me: I have 5 years of experience spanning call center operations, IT troubleshooting, administrative support, and intermediate graphic design skills. I've managed customer relationships end-to-end, resolved basic technical issues (hardware, software, network), coordinated logistics and order fulfillment, and even handled social media branding and basic accounting for a previous employer. I'm bilingual in Arabic and English, comfortable with MS Office and cloud platforms (iCloud, Google Drive, OneDrive), and I also do graphic design in Canva.

I actually visited the UAE back in 2019 on a visit visa hoping to find work in person, but I wasn't able to secure anything at the time mostly because most employers wanted sponsorship already in place before hiring, which is completely understandable. Now I'm trying to approach it the right way: connecting with people first, and hopefully finding a company willing to sponsor a work visa.

If anyone knows of openings in customer service, admin support, operations, or similar fields or if you can point me toward companies known for sponsoring international hires, I’d be incredibly grateful. Happy to share my CV or answer any questions.

Oh and I speak native Arabic and fluent English

opinion on Oman employment

Im an arab from a country with bad economy,

I have experience in administrative office work, i also worked in customer service, restaurants, and social media, i have a bachelors degree in translation and I do some basic video and photo editing, I got experience in accounting basics as well,

My question is, do i have a chance to find a something in oman? My target salary isn't too high 300 is fine ,

Im 30 and I'm tired of my situation so i need to find at least a temporary income until things work out in future.

I went to the UAE before but couldn't get employed ,so I have been thinking of oman , since omanis seem to be more friendly in general.

I need a job + my phone died.

My phone just died and it takes a fortune to fix it , I'm jobless, and I'm very upset,

I have experience in customer service and administrative work and know how to use a computer like a PRO , I can design flyers, presentations ..do simple video editing ...etc. , BUT I'm very adaptive, I can work as part of restaurant staff as long as it generates me money by the end of the month so If anyone can hook me up with a job , I'd be very grateful ,

Relocating to Malaysia from the Middle East,

Hey everyone! I’m planning a move to Malaysia soon and would love to get some honest insights from locals or expats already there.

Before I dive into finding a job and making the actual move,

I want to know: what is the day-to-day life really like? Is the job market friendly for foreigners, and how easy is it to secure employment?

Also, are there any key challenges, cultural differences, or red flags I should watch out for? Appreciate any tips or advice you can share!
