FSR 4 on ARC B580?

Anyone know how to use FSR 4 INT8 on Arc cards? I heard it was possible to do with Optiscaler but no one really has a guide to do it. I'm not satisfied with the quality of XeSS really which is why I am asking. I got the B580 for cheap from a friend as an upgrade from my R9 270X, so I'm new to all this stuff.

Don't take Clothesline on a champ with stealth.

Just don't. If you or one of your teammates takes it the enemy can see you through invis/camouflage stealth. I learned it the hard way playing bravery and getting Talon. Pressed R and got one shot cause the enemies can see me. Please fix Riot.

List of all disabled augments

Some of you may have noticed that some augments are not appearing since the big update in 26.12. Riot did not disclose that they removed them in the patch notes. A handful of augments did actually get disabled in the 26.12 patch so technically they are "removed" for now, it's unknown when they will enable them again. The wiki got updated recently and tells us those augments that are disabled now, so kudos to the wiki people.

Here's a list of the current disabled augments:

  • Adamant (aug that gave resists from applying CC)
  • Clown College
  • Devil on your Shoulder
  • Droppybara
  • Final City Transit (summons Sion train on death)
  • Perseverance
  • Quantum Computing
  • Quest: Sneakerhead (been disabled for months now)
  • Snowball Upgrade
  • Vampirism
  • Void Dash (new aug, AOE dmg and slow around you after you dash)

EDIT: Apparently Pursuit of Power and Pat on the Back are enabled again. Probably disabled them initially to fix their bugs. I removed them from the list. Also corrected my error, the augs were disabled on 26.12 not 26.13.

Light/Heavy attack on X/Y/Square/Triangle or RB/RT/R1/R2?

Which button mapping is your configuration and which one do you think is superior?

EDIT: I should have included my own stance on the topic, sorry. So I have an Xbox controller and prefer to use X/Y for my light and heavy attacks, and RB/RT for other contextual actions in the game. It is mostly a matter of comfort and being able to coordinate my attacks better. I come from a character action game background (Ninja Gaiden, DMC, Stellar Blade, etc) so I have a lot of muscle memory with mashing X/Y to dish out attacks. Usually in CAGs there are various different button patterns you press to pull off certain combos. So a lot of it comes down to just what I'm used to and my brain being wired in a sense. It only feels right to me that the X and Y face buttons are used for light attacks and heavy attacks respectively. Soulslike games are no exception, and if a game is configured with RB/RT for light/heavy attacks, I will immediately go change it to X/Y.

As for which one I think is superior, I do firmly believe it is the face buttons, but I will acknowledge there are arguments for either side and neither configuration is objectively better as it is all subjective and based on preference. With that aside I'll explain my answer by saying that the face buttons are designed to be pressed a lot and feel more impactful when you press them. Light attacks are usually pretty fast so the face buttons are perfect for that case. RB in my opinion doesn't feel as satisfying to press and not enough feedback for such an important action. As for heavy attacks, this one is a mixed bag. They are pretty slow and commonly have a long wind up time when you want to charge them up. A charged heavy attack with RT probably doesn't have the same impact as holding down the Y face button, especially if there is adaptive trigger support in the game. Releasing the trigger to unleash a powerful charged attack is pretty satisfying I'd say. If the game doesn't have a charged heavy though, and only has strong but slow type of attack that you should press a lot in the middle of a combo string for example, then Y feels more proper. Most games have both a tap and a charged heavy attack, so honestly you could make a good argument for either Y or RT. Oh and of course, you could configure the game with X/RT for light/heavy attacks. I might actually try that config and see how it goes. I'm relatively new to soulslikes, only have a couple finished on my belt.

At the end of the day it really is down to preference and whichever feels the best to you. I just thought it would be an interesting thing to discuss since we take controls for granted and don't think about them much. There is a diversity of people using different buttons for light and heavy attacks in action games in general, so I was curious what stances the soulslike community has.

Tooth Fairy is the new ???

Okay woohoo everyone the most disgusting augment in the game has been removed! But let's not celebrate too early, because they didn't nerf Tooth Fairy AT ALL. This augment can give you an insane amount of Lethality and magic pen so you literally deal true damage to anyone, including tanks if you go a % pen item. By late game you can get up to 100-150 flat pen cause it so god damn easy to proc. Why the hell does it not have a cooldown? In ARAM dealing 20% of someone's HP is so incredibly easy, it's mind boggling that this is a gold augment. Riot just wants us to suffer every single patch.

Cronos: Lazarus - New Story DLC for Cronos: The New Dawn

Super stoked about this! I absolutely adore Cronos, definitely the best survival horror title I've played in recent years. I'm very surprised to see an expansion, wasn't sure if this game was successful enough since it is kind of unpopular. But it seems Bloober is highly invested in this franchise that they're willing to give it another shot.

No ray reconstruction support for Forza Horizon 6?

So everyone's been uploading their benchmarks for FH6 and I noticed in the graphics settings that there is no ray reconstruction setting, despite the game having RTGI and RT reflections. This isn't as big of a dealbreaker as the RT still looks very good with the standard denoiser they're using, but it would have been nice to have RR to improve the quality even further. What's weird though is that apparently the game files contain the "nvngx_dlssd.dll" file which is responsible for ray reconstruction, so this has me wondering if the game was planned to have RR support but the developers maybe didn't have enough time to implement it. I think they're probably working on it now to add it in a future update if I had to hazard a guess.
