Butt at what cost?

1. ROLLERS ARE BETTER

this should be the first entry on the sidebar

I went through nearly a dozen different trackballs, upgraded to ceramic bearings, tried several different balls in each of them, performed various mods, tried different waxes, oils, and sprays, and all of them still had significant stiction

then I tried an IST with rollers, and the difference was like night and day

I wish someone had told me rollers were this much better before I wasted hundreds of dollars on all those static-bearing trackballs

is Spark mining crypto?

during the most recent update on windows 10, windows defender interrupted the install with two alerts about suspicious files in directories related to Spark

I approved them, so I can't access the notification again, but at least one of them mentioned crypto

this is the first unexpected alert from defender I've seen on this machine, and I've encountered nothing similar while using or installing any other apps recently

Wifi dropping randomly on 2014 MBP running Sequoia 15.7.7 via OCLP 2.4.1

install went smoothly as did root patch afterward

I'm able to connect to wifi, but a couple times in the last several hours, the connection dropped out and wifi showed up as dissabled completely, but it came back shortly afterward and reconnected successfully

the first time it happened, the above message was displayed, but then reconnected about a minute later

the card was working fine on ventura and on the original big sur install before that

system updates are turned off, and I didn't add any kexts or make any other changes during the install
