Unpopular opinion: India doesn’t lack cricket talent, it lacks patience with talent

Feels like every young player gets judged in 2 - 3 matches now.

One bad series - “not international material”
One good innings - “future superstar”

Very little space for actual long-term development or form cycles.

Meanwhile, the same fans demand consistency from players who barely get consistency in selection.

Do we expect too much too fast, or is this just how modern cricket fandom is?

Unpopular opinion: most car ownership in India is more anxiety than enjoyment

Owning a car sounds like comfort and freedom on paper.

But in reality, for a lot of people it feels like:

  • EMI pressure + fuel cost stress
  • constant fear of scratches in tight parking spots
  • dealing with traffic that kills any “driving pleasure”
  • and maintenance surprises you never planned for

It’s like you buy comfort, but end up trading it for a different kind of stress.

Does anyone actually still enjoy driving in city conditions, or is it just a necessity now?

Unpopular opinion: most people don’t actually enjoy riding, they enjoy owning a bike

I’ve noticed something weird.

A lot of people talk about bikes, mods, mileage, exhausts, etc.
But very few actually talk about rides they enjoyed or places they went.

Feels like for many, the bike is more of a status + identity thing than something they regularly use for joy or exploration.

Not judging - just observing.

Do you actually ride for enjoyment, or is it more about having the machine?

Is it just me or has riding a bike in India become mentally exhausting now?

I don’t even mean traffic or fuel prices.

I mean the constant stress of:

  • People cutting across without looking
  • Random honking from behind even when you’re already at limit speed
  • Fear of potholes appearing out of nowhere like jump scares
  • And that one truck guy who thinks indicators are optional

I used to enjoy rides earlier. Now it feels like you need 100% focus every second or something goes wrong.

Anyone else feeling this change in recent years or am I overthinking it?

Which bike to buy out of these?

I am thinking to purchase my first bike. I like weekend short bike ride and rest going to office on weekdays. My budget is around INR 2L. Confused which to buy MT15 or Hunter 350 or something else

I want a god reliable engine which I can drive for approx 3-4 yrs daily. Engine should have some feel and feedback and not too heavy bike.

Earlier I use to drive my brother 2021 R15, that's why I am loving MT15 more.

Is anyone having any idea, what to buy or some other best option?

Google’s latest AI push at I/O 2025 signals a major shift in marketing - are we underestimating it?

Google’s recent I/O 2025 announcements felt less like product updates and more like a direction shift for how digital marketing, search, and commerce will work going forward.

A few standout changes that caught attention:

  • Universal Cart: A more seamless shopping flow across Google surfaces
  • AI-powered ad placements: New positioning and logic for ads inside AI-driven experiences
  • YouTube conversational search: Search and discovery becoming more interactive via Gemini
  • AI-first search experience: Queries shifting toward agent-style responses instead of classic results
  • Content verification signals: More emphasis on trust and authenticity in ranking/content systems

Taken together, it feels like Google is slowly moving from a “search engine” to an “answer + action engine.”

For marketers, this raises a few real questions:

  • How do SEO and paid ads evolve when results become conversational?
  • What happens to traditional funnel thinking when AI compresses discovery - decision?
  • Are we moving toward fewer clicks, but higher intent actions?

Curious how others here are thinking about this shift - especially those in SEO, PPC, or growth roles. Is this evolution already impacting your strategy, or still early days?
