Hi everyone,
I’m 26, based in India, and come from a non-technical background. I’ve been working at an insurance startup for the past 3 years. For the first 2 years, I worked as a Quality Analyst auditing advisor calls and payment processes. For the past year, I’ve been in the Verification team, conducting customer verification calls to help prevent issues during future claims.
Recently, I’ve become interested in AI Governance and am considering preparing for the AIGP certification over the next 6 months.
Do you think my experience in quality, verification, compliance, and risk-related processes is relevant to AI Governance? Would AIGP be a good starting point, or are there other skills/certifications I should focus on first?
I understand the field is still evolving and entry-level opportunities may be limited, but I’m thinking long-term and would love to hear from people working in AI Governance, Risk, Compliance, or related areas.
