I started asking myself this when I married Miria and was disappointed to find out that she's more of a joke character than an actual companion with a questline and/or relationship mechanics.

So I looked on the internet to see if there was a mod to make her more of a fully fleshed-out character. I found out that there is a mod for exactly that, and there are also a huge number of other mods too that look super cool. But of course none of them can be installed onto an ongoing vanilla save, so now I feel like maybe I should just start over.

But on the other hand, I've already done a lot of stuff in my current save. I peacefully fixed the Gecko reactor, got citizenship in Vault City, went to New Reno and had sex with a mob boss's wife, not to mention one or two dozen small side-tasks. I don't really feel like doing all that again.

Does anyone here have any input? How much would I be getting out of starting over? And if I do decide to start over, are there any must-have mods that I should know about beforehand? I don't want to restart twice.
