Dog ran away today. Do I want a Fi, or…?

She’s safe and sound at home, but my 3 year old golden gave us quite a scare today. She was missing for 4 hours before we were able to find her. We have a fenced yard, but my son left the front door open on accident.

Is Fi the best out there? I don’t want something cumbersome since I will have it on all the time.

Meaningful upgrade?

Ordered these on a whim today since my Callaway rep got them down to $399. I’m currently playing Rogue ST Max irons and have progressed a lot since initially getting them.

Are these going to be a meaningful upgrade? I have two issues off the bat - no 5 iron and no gap wedge. I have been using a 21 degree UW as a 5 iron replacement so I’m less worried about that, but I do wish I had a GW.

Would a different set suit me better as an upgrade?

What reliable trucks are truly left?

Ford: 10R80 issues, cam phasers, oil consumption
Ram: Lifter failures
GM: Everything, AFM, 6.2 issues, trans problems
Gen 3 Tundra: Engine issues
Titan: Discontinued but also had cylinder 7 scoring problem

Is there honestly no reliable trucks anymore? Do you have to go HD?

Made a mistake

Bought a 2015 Tundra Platinum with 186k miles. I was meant with the looks, sound, feel. I spent $20k on it which I realize is now overpaying. Also, realizing the 11mpg is not nearly as “no biggie” as I anticipated. It’s also lifted with big tires and it’s a bear to drive around. My wife doesn’t like driving it.

I feel stuck. Trade in values are 17,500-18,500. I can’t stomach a big loss (after factoring taxes paid).

I wish I’d gone with a newer 2.7 F-150 or possibly Tacoma. How do you deal with this?

Bought this 2015 Platinum today. The sole owner is also the owner of the Lexus/Toyota specialty mechanic shop in town. 180k miles with pages of service (diffs every 20k, 5k oil intervals, trans fluid, spark plugs, water pump, starter, new shocks, reseal timing cover, etc). Market here is a little wacky but I still think I got a decent deal. May have paid a premium for all the service but I prefer that over having to do a bunch of work.
